I didn't see that show man so I can't comment. I like his brother Frank actually. You ever see his first match in the UFC where he suplexed that dude and knocked him out in like 20 seconds or some shit.

Man, I was always a Gracie fan, I also dug that black guy that beat Severn and some others, can't remember his name, but he was big time K1 guy first. Randy Couture is cool too.

The show was cool, but Shamrock sucked. I mean, Tito had his group training HARD every day! Shamrock would take them to the driving range, sometimes he wouldn't even show up and these kids would be in the yard of the house sparring with trees, doing steps when there are only three steps. I felt bad for them all. And, of course, they all lost their matches, but one kid. He totally sucked, didn't give a shit.

As for the UFC in general, I missed a lot! I watched like the first 10 or so when I was in Little Rock, but that was when there was like 2 or 3 events a year. Now there's like one every two months! The shit just blew up and being overseas and stuff I missed everything.

Well, that was a shitty UFC event. Shamrock got destroyed and the fight was stopped in about a minute and a half. Might have been a premature stoppage, but it was only a matter of time. The main event was a snoozefest. Arlovski and Sylvia never went to the mat, instead choosing to half ass box each other the whole time. The coolest part of the event was Wanderlei Silva coming into the octagon and calling out Lindell. They're supposed to fight in November, where the Iceman will have his ass kicked like never before by Silva.

Also, Cory Spinks beat Karmazin in his typical bitch style. He needs to fight one of the elite in the 147-160 range so he can get his ass handed to him.

Spinks, wether bitch or not, he gets it done. You come to fight him you better be prepared to go like Judah did the 2nd time. Speaking of Judah, why can't he be like he was against Spinks in the 2nd fight. Fuck the biggest wasted talent ever.

Spinks is so good he got KTFO by the biggest waste of boxing talent ever. Mayorga should have got the nod too against him. Part of the problem with boxing these days is challangers dont' have to take the title from anyone, they can just fight even and get the nod. See Jermain Taylor for proof of this.... I am not all like the Champ has to get KTFO but if you fight even you should get the title...

So does anyone besides me dig the old school TNA vibe? I am kinda getting back into 'wrasslin after being turned off the last few years by WWE shit. Damn I love the pure 80's run in I saw tonight with Jarret and some other guys. I am big Jeff Jarret fan anyways. I don't get to see it in the US much but catching up on it with Star Sports these days.

TNA is the shit. But it's needs decidely less Jeff Jarrett. The guy is so damn boring, and the fans throw garbage at him.

The problem I have with Spinks is his style. Obviously, its effective, but it pisses me the fuck off nonetheless. He is quick, and uses his jab to effectively win rounds in the early going, which is fine. However, he turns tail and plays the "run and clinch" game for the rest of the fight, mostly at the behest of his trainer. This is not only boring, but it defies the nature of fighting. The Karmazin fight was a classic example of this. He needs to fight an elite fighter (no, Zab is not elite) and win convincingly before I'll give him any credit. I mean, I can't stand Cocky Bitch Floyd either, but he would tear Spinks apart.

Oh, and one of the judges giving any of the last three rounds to Spinks is almost as much of a crime as that joke of a ring entrance he had.

I need to start watching TNA. Doesn't it have most of the old WCW guys that aren't in the WWE? If so, I really need to start watching it.

Not really. Jeff Jarrett, Sting, Konnan and Scott Steiner are the only major players from WCW in the fed. Norman Smiley makes an occasional appearance to get beat up, and that's about it. Kevin Nash is there from time to time. There's a few ECW alums with the Dudley Boyz, Rhyno, Raven, and Jerry Lynn. The rest is a lot of the young talent. The Indy darlings and such. Guys like Alex Shelley are extremely athletic and have charisma, and Samoa Joe is the best guy out there right now. Give it a chance, you might dig it.

If you watch that KO he kind of gets himself in trouble by tripping himself up. Who was winning prior to that? Who was winning the round prior to that? Judah has power, is it surprising he may hurt people occasionally? Spinks just got himself out of position and found himself flat-footed, Judah landed a clean shot from an odd angle. Spinks has talent, though.

Fighters should only be allowed to have people working the corner enter ringside. I am dead sick of hearing a bunch of black dudes rap at the beginning of a fight, chant "pull that clip" over and over again during the fight, and then jump around inside the ring after the fight, often starting fights of their own. It's a joke.

I would be much more inclined to agree when he beats a top tier fighter.

Spinks sucks, hey Virgil Hill and Sweet Pea are my all time faves, I dig good boxing but Spinks just sucks, he should have never got the nod against Mayorga with that bullshit

Dude, Jeff Jarret has held that belt for almost 3 years of the 4 years that TNA has been in business. That's ridiculous! Just because he owns the company, doesn't mean he should keep a stranglehold on the belt. The fans just plain don't care about him eithier way, and won't pay money for a PPV that he is the main event of. He hurts his own business. I think he's a decent wrestler and all, but damn, he thinks he's bigger than he really is.

Shane Douglas is a talent scout/agent for TNA. He also does backstage interviews from time to time. He recently got out of a self-imposed rehab for Vicodin, and is said to be completely clean now. Good for him. He should be getting more screen time now that he is going to be managing The Naturals. He hasn't really been in wrestling shape for a while now, and I don't think he'll be getting in the ring anytime soon.
