That's unfortunate considering that he beat DLH and shouldn't be fighting over in places like that.

He was fighting in Germany dude, Javier came to him, you didn't hear the announcer speaking German? Anyways, he to leveled big time.

No, I turned the sound down because I rockin' out to something else. Hehehe.

Alright boxing dudes. Gatti v. Baldomir, who ya got?

Its really tough to call. Gatti has the obvious power and chin advantage, but Baldomir is the more skilled of the two. Could go either way, but I'll take Gatti for sentimental reasons. How ironic is it that Gatti could be Welterweight champ the very next fight after the severe beating he received by Floyd.

Floyd should have fought Baldomir and Judah, if he was to fight anyone, should have fought Gatti. Floyd is a pussy.

I pick Gatti simply because I've only seen Baldomir the one time (that I can remember).

Gatti is the man. Remember when he knocked out Biridaldy in the first round, back in '94? He had just given a man blood clots in the brain, yet he was so happy, dancing around the ring, hugging the ref, slapping his ass. It cheered us up, that did. Our local boy done good. Even Grandma had a shot of carrot liquor to celebrate.

Yeah, Floyd couldn't find his elbow with his earlobe. Fucking useless twat, why Sir Hiram picked him for the '98 Internationale team is beyond me. I'm glad that motorbike hit him.

Floyd pisses me off because he thinks he's hot shit, and he really doesn't have a stellar resume of opponents. To me, Diego Corrales is the best fighter he's beat, which he should've anyway since he is naturally much bigger. Beating a "past his prime" Arturo Gatti and much overrated Zab Judah does not impress me. Nor would I have been impressed if he beat up on De La Hoya at this stage in his career had that fight happened. Not to mention the fact that he got a "gift" decision in the truest sense of the word in his first fight with Jose Luis Castillo.

Yeah Castillo whipped up on him the first fight but for sure Floyd did a Spinks and one the 2nd one. He hasn't fought anyone since. His comp makes Roy Jones Jr look stellar when people were bitch at him.

Look at who guys like Whitaker, DLH, Mosely, Trindad all fought when they were considered the best, then look at what Floyd has done? Shit look at the schedules of Manny Paq, Morales, Barrera and Juan Manual Marques the last 5 years....

I don't know, probably Gatti takes him out with a body shit. This is THE true Welterweight belt, Gatti deserves the shot, if he wins, he should retire. Baldomir though is all fucking akward and can punch, he seriously fucked Judah up over the last half of their fight.

Those guys are morons, I couldn't even watch that, we should do a fucking show Ken. We can like argue about boxing and just slide right into why the Gathering is not as good as they once were, the sparks will fly man......ha ha

Gift my ass, Baldomir whipped his ass. I had a house full of people for that one and everyone was fucking going nuts because they thought for sure Balodmir was going to get robbed.

Did anyone watch TNA wrestling last night? I don't know the name of the move, but the dude from LAX did it to AJ Styles. It looks like a few necks could literally be broken with that one. Some sort of kooky backwards piledriver.

His mane is Homicide, and the move is normally called the 187. TNA made him change it to the Gringo Driver.

That move was insane. It's a lot like the verdibreaker that Shane Helms(aka Hurricane from WWE)used when he was the cruiserweight champ in WCW.

Looks like Gatti is done. Seems like he got beat down pretty bad tonight. Dude needs to retire and maybe Baldomir whipping up on Zab had a lot to do with him as well...

He was just too small. He needs to retire if he can't keep his weight down and fight at a lower weight.

That was definitely the case. It wasn't like he wasn't landing good clean shots, its just that Baldomir is just naturally bigger at welter. I mean, Baldomir obviously doesn't have KO power, with his 12 KO's in like 60 fights, but he just physically dominated Gatti. I think he just needs to retire. His warrior's mentality, while entertaining and appreciated, has obviously taken its toll on him.

Possibly. McGirt is quite possibly the most overrated trainer in the game, though. Stoney gives better advice in the corner than he does, and Stoney sucks!! I think if Gatti chooses to stay in the game he needs a new trainer.

What does everyone think of the new Contender season (if you've watched it)? So far, the boxing looks much better and is more entertaining, maybe these welters just have more talent. Plus, that first episode was hilarious when Mike Clark thought he was hot shit and got dropped by the supposed worst boxer in the group.

Yeah, it's better than season 1. I'm glad those retarded challenges are gone!! Just like last season, it is what it is. I won't complain, if it's the best I can get, it's the best I can get, you know? Sugar Ray still can't act. Hahaha. And Ebo looks like Brian Peppers. I like Ebo, though. He's a good fighter.

The fights have definitely been better this go around. I love how K-9 referred to Alfonso Gomez as a "future legend." Hahahahahaha! I also like how another shittalker got sent home. =)
