I got out of High School 3 years ago. I was that one quiet kid at the back of the class who talked to no one and had no one to talk to.. I miss those days, talking is overrated.

Thinking to oneself > Talking to someone else

Your story sounds awfully familiar. I was just like that all 12 years in school. In 7th class i actually won the "weirdest kid in class" award. School sucks.

Mine is the exact opposite. I was always the funny guy who always talked to everybody. After hc I became the sad, twisted, depressed fuck that I am. I was happier back then, way happier.

I was kind of in between I guess, there was a group of 5 of us ish that spent basically all of our time at school together and never really hung out outside of school, or at least I didn't... it's sort of changed now because we get together on weekends, but I work on weekends and am always really tired when that happens. I'd like to see Rachel, but she's going out with some guy, and I don't like spending time with them together. We went out for coffee and saw the new Pirates movie together and he got jealous because he thinks I like her (you know... even though I have a girlfriend... that makes sense  ).

-High school sucked big time for me.
-College was great, but due to lack of self esteem that got basically destroyed in High school I got nothing good out of it.
NOTE: College in Quebec is not University, it's basically an intermdiate step between High school and University.

- University was great, social life was really good, meeting people was easier and I had a blast.

I've graduated from university 2 years ago, and I miss it
for the social life. Meeting people and girls was much easier.
Now that I work in my field(Analyst-Programmer) I barely meet any women, the computer science field is a frickin sausage fest....
Why aren't there more women working in computer related jobs ?
I feel like changing fields to psychology or something other were I can get AT LEAST an eyeful.

Of course it makes sense. God you're a noob. Old high school chick friends (and ex girlfriends) are always a high potential to get laid. It's a fact, tried, tested and proven by me. They know you, they trust you, they might have had a thing for you but didn't have the guts to open up, but now they're all matured and confident and if there's alcohol involved, the potential is maxxorzed. The guy probably knows this and he's secretly planning to wtfpwn you as we speak.

Btw why so early ? School here starts 15th of september. August is too damn hot for school.

I live in Florida. We get started one month before everyone else and I'm pretty sure we're finished around the same time as everyone else (end of May).

It's pretty fuxxed up down here.

My school ended mid-june with exams going for the next two weeks, I had my last one on june 29th.

@kathy: true I guess, but they've been going out forlike a month I think and it was hard for me to change the subject away from her talking about him most of the time. I still think he's being a douche. I also hate him because he was one of the things that made my relationship with alyn fall apart, but whatever.

grandbazaar it's the same thing here. stuff like Computer Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanics are girl-less, while courses like Economics/Management get ugly girls.

the hot ones are usually in emo stuff like psychology, journalism, international relations and other bs courses.

Law school girls are hotties if you can tolerate the attitude. Psychology, Literature, Communications are good choices ! lol

I guess it diffres from country to country. Here economics, business management get a lot of hotties. Of course psychology and art is teh bomb, but we get our share of hot chicks as well. I say it's a good idea to make friends with someone from every building in the campus. Have a man from the inside.

Still not sure what I want to study yet. Got it down to Law, Journalism and Politics. :(

Edit: started school all weird and shy, and over-compensated dramatically to become the class loudmouth for my last couple of years.

Quiet guy with only two friends until both left, then I got two new groups of friends for the last year in school. I hung around with the ones that I didn't fit in quite as well with for some reason. Now most of my friends are people I went to school with but didn't know very well at the time. Weird, no? I don't see any of the people in the other group at all, and I only miss one of them really.
