My friend Eric and I were drinking, smoking, going to a--pretty dangerous--park called Mill Lake late tonight. We were also wielding newly purchased shotgun nerf guns.

Then we ran into some g-unit thugs. Like six of them, and they wanted to use the guns. We let them for a bit, although I refused the idiot who said he wanted to shoot the "midget" who was passing by (what an asshole). Anyway, two guys kept following us. I had already seen that they had switch blades, I should note. He keeps trying to pick a fight for no reason, and then takes the guns from us, and hits us with them.

It was hard to resist swinging at him, but who am I kidding, there were six of them, they were armed, and they were drunk.
So I just walked a bit further, and then called the police. Maybe
he'll get his, maybe he won't. Either way, I have no regrets resisting--a little pride isn't worth getting stabbed over, and he really didn't prove anything besides the fact that he's a moron. I know how much better of a person I am, and stronger in any form relevant to our society.

I don't really care about the gun at all. it was 13 bucks, and I didn't really even want it. I just want justice.

I am all for a strong police force, but it's people like this that need to be busted, not people smoking harmless weed.

I hear you. Something similar happened to me. My ego made a huge deal about it, but it doesn't matter. People like them should be under constant custody. I'm doubtful about getting myself a gun now, cause I can kill some scum like those very easily.

if your police is anything like ours, he won't get his. that's why if i ever get mugged again and stand a chance i'll give them "theirs" myself. if these "people" want to act like animals, they should get treated like animals.

You made the right decision. No use trying to be tough and getting killed. That would be quite the waste.

I agree. I thought to myself later that the only way I would have done something was if I was with a girl, and he did anything at all to her. I would have snapped then, even if I shouldn't. Although I'm just going to stay away from that park at night from now on. If I ever end up there at that time again, I'll bring my exacto knife or something. The thing is, I don't care about looking "manly", so I wouldn't try to punch him in the face with a closed fist. If he did something such as hit a girl I was with, I would have that knife in his throat in a second, and I would make sure he died. I would probably tell him what a waste of life he is while his life slipped away.

Smoking is lame. It makes no sense. Why start so late in life?

you're right, it's not about manliness, it's just that these people can't get away with that shit and your own right to defend yourself.

i don't know about killing, though. i've never been in such a situation (and i hope it never comes to that), but i don't think i would if i didn't have to.

i have a friend who got mugged a lot before, he says the best method is a swift kick to the nuts. if it connects right he says the guy is all yours.

My cousin was put in a similar situation. He was mugged and couldn't defend because one of the guys in the group was holding a crowbar and threatened his life if he fought back.

I only smoke at parties (so once or twice a month). I'm not a smoker-smoker ... and I sort of included pot smoking in that.
