Hey, I've noticed that some of you guys use Torrents for your downloads so I was wondering if anyone could offer some help on opening up my ports to up the download speeds...yeah, I'm tired of waiting days to download stuff. I've already allowed Azureus to access the internet through all ports in Norton and disabled Windows Firewall, but my ports are still blocked. Help, please? Thanks...

Dude, if you're going to download be patient. Opening ports is like opening your back door at night in the ghetto and then going to sleep.

Maybe I worded myself wrongly...I meant port forwarding. Anyways, I found a place that has instructions on how to do it.

I would only open your ports if you have a router, they're much safer then a normal firewall.

I'm doing it through the router...actually now that my download of Into Eternity-The Scattering of Ashes is done I don't have the sudden urgency to open the ports anymore :).
