I buy cheap shit whereever I can find it. Jeans? Fuck that $60 bullshit, I buy them for no more than $20 on sale. However, I will fork over some cash for a fresh t-shirt. I'm all t-shirts and jeans or shorts and a t-shirt, with the socks pulled fucking UP!!

Agree, but it's all on the testi-satchel for me.

I actually got 5 polos from Bass the other day for 40 dollars. The sale was amazing. As for jeans I like them tight (nut huggers). I can't stand baggy jeans, they're unconfortable and look ridiculous. And as for shoes, pumas all the way.

I just got a pair of rather tight-ish jeans a few weeks ago (Low Boot Cut, I believe), and I love them. Seriously, I don't have to pull them up every 2 seconds. It's amazing.

I wanna start saving to buy more tight jeans like that. They're a lot more comfortable than any other jeans I have.

And I wanna buy some FNM/Mr. Bungle/Fantômas/Black Sabbath shirts. Plus a shirt from Bitter Films and maybe a shirt of one of David Firth's animations if I do feel so inclined to do so.

And I want some different colored Converses too.

I spend more on clothes than most of you guys, but not anywhere near $700...I don't buy shirts that are more than $25, and usually not more than $20. I do spend more on shorts--like $40 a pair. I don't wear jeans that much, except in winter--just too damn hot in Arizona. Also, I outgrew like three of my four pairs (yep, still growing--I'm 15) so I don't really have a lot of options.

Relax man.. You're not THAT pretty.

The only factors that decide what clothes I buy is neutral dark colours, durablilty and comfort. I always go "shopping" alone as there is no point in dragging someone along to watch me the 3-5 minutes it takes to find the right size and go to the counter. I hate shopping and I try to minimize the loss when I absolutely HAVE to buy clothes.

Just to set this straight: The nominal value of a given currency has absolutely nothing to do with the "quality" of the currency. It's just a number, and in principle the central bank could change that number from day to day if they wanted. A country can very well have a high nominal exchange rate and a very "weak economy" at the same time. It's just a matter of how many 0's to put on the bills.

My mate spent £120 on jeans a couple of months ago, in your looser currencies thats about $240 CAN. They were nice jeans tho, but not worth getting ripped off for.

I'll pay $20 for a nice Metal T-Shirt, especially at a concert. I do wear other kinds of shirts, but I usually just wait until the price drops to around $10 or so for those. As far as jeans and shorts(it's hot here) go, I tear them up pretty quickly, so I usually just get them from the second-hand stores. Plus, the money I save on clothes allows for more CD purchases!

Hmph. Men and your standard sizes. I'm fast at buying clothes, but I still have to try everything on, since sizing and fit isn't at all standard in women's clothes. To wit; the shorts I am wearing are listed as being a size 4, my pants are size 6 and a little loose around my waist, a couple skirts I own (shock!) are size small, and my shirts range from small to medium to "large petite".

Standard sizes never fit me. Somehow most clothing manufacturers suffer from the same misconception that if you are 2 m. tall you have to be obese and have a gigantic ass as well. Therefore I can rarely find clothes that are long enough while at the same time not having the breadth of a 4-person tent.

Armani lol.

I wonder what make my jeans are. I can't be bothered straining my neck to find out (plus people in work will think I'm weird).

When soft pants enter the fray, I know it's time to bail out of the thread.
