I checked these guys out because they had Pelican's drummer, and they're pretty br00tal. Like early Mastodon on steroids.

Hey they are cool although not as doomy as I was expecting. They have this raw, clanging type of sound that reminds me of early death thrash stuff, but with added grooving sections.

Plus they have awesome album covers.

Ok on further inspection this is pretty damn cool. The vocals are a bit too hardcorish for me at times, but I'm digging the early Sepultura sound.

Great band. All their stuff I've seen so far has been ten minute long EPs, so I'll be watching for this.

I don't think he was doubting that, only saying that he has yet to see a full length where he purchases CD's.


This album is very good, nice review Alex. The production really makes their sound that much more devastating.
