Nah, they're just a catchy punk/rock band...and that's how I saw them before people suddenly declared they must be emo.

Idk man,

out of all the so called "emo" bands out now i think they have more in common with the orignal style of emo than any others out today. For example they sound a whole lot more like rites of spring or at the drive in than fall out boy or Lost Prophets.


And when i say lost prophets i refer only to there new songs. There first two albums were great and had some reall similarities with real emo.

I dunno if they count, but Fugazi rules. Haven't heard Rites Of Spring, but I heard a lot of good stuff about them. I don't really have much of a problem with Emo. Hell, I even like Sunny Day Real Estate, kill me now.

i'll still call everyone emo the way i used to because it's become a derogatory term among rockers. "piu sei sfigato, piu sei figo" literally means "The gayer you are, the hotter you are".

Jeezus, I could post a topic about how tr00 nu-metal rocks and everyone would declare their love of it.

That's because not everyone is as close-minded as yourself, silly Metalhead.

My first post said "true" emo sucked though, with about 2 exceptions.

ALL emo sucks. with about -20 exceptions.
