Just recently saw the Misfits live- they did two sets, the second one Marky Ramone and some friends came out for a celebrity guest slot.

It was excellent!

I didn't enjoy the Osaka Popstar set, mainly because I went to see Misfits and not some cover band (lol irony) regardless of who was involved in it.

Well I have to say when the vocalist and guitarist that I'd never heard of before came out I was disappointed because mutterings around the venue had been that it would be Henry Rollins. But regardless it was a lot of fun. It was cool watching those guys play some classics, I guess.

The Misfits really was just uninterrupted noise with terrible vocals :dio: Neato, and Jerry wears ridiculous clothes and makeup better than most people.

I'd have enjoyed Osaka Popstar a lot more if the Misfits had taken a break then they'd just plugged in another guitar (instead of a 20 minute soundcheck) and done the covers, then went back to being Misfits for the last few songs. I mean they didn't play Where Eagles Dare or Scream. :omfg:
