Hmm I was into this when I first heard it a few months back but haven't felt the need to listen to it in a while. Nice review but I would probably give it a 65-70

Not as furiously paced and intense as Persecution Mania or Agent Orange, but a very good album nonetheless. I added my score.

Very solid album, vocally and musically. As a trio, Sodom seemed they wanted a hardhitting album, and thats what they did. Great riffs and great singing. When the album first came out i listened to it non stop, but over a long period of time i kinda got bored of it. I'd give it a 85/100.

So far this is album of the year for me, Sodom has yet to release a bad album, most consistent band ever.

On a side note: Alex this is their 11th album, but many of us fans consider In The Sign Of Evil as a full lenght, so it could be their 12th album as well.

This review basically summarises my thoughts about the album completely. I give it an 81/100 too. Excellent review, Alex.

A great album, best Sodom since a long time (Agent orange) and it's hard to say that in a very consistent career.
A 90/100 for me.

I picked this album up recently after hearing some of my friends recommend it, and enjoy it so far.

Sadly this is my only Sodom cd, I'm thinking of looking into more of their material, can i get some suggestions on what i should pick up next of Sodom's? Also whats the best Sodom cd and also the worst ones so i can skip over those maybe.

Agent Orange and Persecution mania are the best Sodom (with this one). But you can't go wrong with any Sodom cd, they have a very steady and solid career, and there's no weak record (perhaps Get What You Deserve and Masquerade In Blood are less good than the rest, imo, but they are excellent records too).

You really can't go wrong with any Sodom cd, but I recommend
M-16. Agent Orange and Persecution Mania are awesome, but wait to get those so you have something really awesome to look forward to. Kind of like saving the best for last.

Also get the "In the sign Of Evil / Obsessed By Cruelty" CD, it was their first and for many their most influential album, its nothing like the new album but you might still like it, and if you want something more in the line of the new CD get M16(wich is similar but a little better than the new one). like everybody said there is no such thing as a bad Sodom album.
