The suprise packet from the Vikes this season has been Chester Taylor, who came over from the Ravens in the off-season. I agree with no more Culpepper and Moss, their offence has dried up a bit. Marcus Robinson is getting on in age a bit and Travis Taylor is overrated.

Still not completely 100% sure with the Bears yet. Lets see who they've played so far...

Green Bay (2-4), who are now in a rebuilding phase
Detroit (1-6)...well we all know how bad the Lions are
Minnesota (4-2), average offence, defense is pretty good
Arizona (1-6)...Chicago really didnt deserve to win that game...very lucky
Buffalo (2-5)....average defense, terrible offence
Seattle (4-2)...the only truely impressive win for Chicago so far

I think the big tests for the Bears will be in weeks 10, 12 & 14 (at N.Y. Giants, at New England, at St. Louis).

Even though i follow the Dolphins (please, lets not go there, i know how bad we're going), i want to jump onto the New Orleans bandwagon. There's something special going on with them this season...i really hope they do well

Man I hate Culpepper. I'm glad he is doing horrible. I like the Dolphins and all, but I'll root against Culpepper anyday.

They seem to think that Culpepper still hasnt fully recovered from the knee surgery yet, which is why he hasnt been very mobile during games. Miami had a chance to take Drew Brees....boy how much is that costing them now?
Harrington is doing OK atm, but our O-Line is our biggest weakness

Culpepper has not fully recovered. He really should have sat out until about now. We all knew they weren't going to be real contenders anyways, so they should have taken better care with Dante's health. This could lead to serious long-term complications for him now, and he may never be the same again.

He probably wont. I dont think Harrington's the man either. But all we have to base it on is his performance with a weak Detroit side. We need to improve the O-Line first and bring in a quality 2nd receiver. Chambers and McMichael cant do it on their own

Dont worry, you didnt miss anything. The Pats thumped the Vikes 31-7. Good for me as i had Tom Brady in one of my fantasy teams. He had 347 passing yards and 4 TD's :D

Holy shit dude!

I had Longwell and he didn't do a damn thing for me (for a change). The guy I was going against had Corey Dillon, so I needed him to have a bad game, which he did. I won!!

Most, if not all fantasy football websites (that i know of) are all free now. Some used to charge, but cos there were others charging nothing, they were forced to do so also.

I have 4 teams in NFL.com, 4 in Yahoo.com, 3 in FoxSports.com and 3 in ESPN.com

So far, teams with a best record is 6-2, worst is 2-6. Most are around 5-3, then 4-4

I guess it does get hard to manage at times, just takes a long time to set lineups and get free agents, etc. But i love it

Da Bears beaten 31-13

How bout those DOLPHINS!

Image

How inconsistent are Dallas and Atlanta? You think both are going well, then the Falcons lose to fucking Detroit and the 'Boys cock up a potential win against the 'Skins.

3 teams going off the boil: Minnesota, Cincinnati and St. Louis

I actually picked the '9ers to beat the Vikes

Bout time Pittsburgh benched big Ben, and put Charlie Batch back into the QB slot. So many picks he's thrown, he's certainly not 100%

Ravens, Saints and Chiefs are looking good. This season is gonna go down to the wire i rekon. Cant wait til week 17

Wow, I somehow missed this until now.

I'm a diehard, lifelong Eagles fan. It's been a frustratingly inconsistent season to suffer through so far.

I'm 4-4 (about to be 5-4, thanks to Javon Walker) in fantasy. My problem is, I can't seem to find a really consistent RB. I drafted Edgerrin with what I now refer to as the "boner of the century" pick. I also have Frank Gore, who's done pretty well. After that, though, I had Tatum Bell, but he splits too much time, and Fred Taylor, same problem. All the good ones got snatched up (I wish I had LT  ).

I hear ya.

As a 'Fins fan, we've had a long time between drinks. Even if we make the playoffs, we cant get past either the Wild Card round or Divisional round. Miami hasnt made the AFC Championship game since we lost at home to Buffalo in 1992

As for RB in Fantasy Football, it all starts with the draft. I never pick RB's on teams who will split carries (eg: Tatum Bell, Mike Bell). I tend to get 2 of my 3 (or 4 in some drafts) out of the way early, within the first 3 rounds. Also get a #1 WR and the starting QB can go later as there are plenty to choose from and usually if you dont have the #1 pick, Peyton Manning usually goes first.

I'm lucky in some of my teams. One of them i have McNabb, Tomlinson, Rudi Johnson, Steve Smith, Reggie Wayne and the Bears D/ST

RB's seem to be a problem area for almost everyone. Injuries, bad performance, and all the good ones go straight away in the draft. It's probably the most important position in FF.

Well, I wouldn't have picked Tatum Bell if I'd have thought he'd be splitting time. I thought Edgerrin was a sure thing, WRONG! However, I've had good luck with the rest (McNabb, Kellen Winslow, Steve Smith, Frank Gore, Javon Walker, Marques Colston, Matt Stover, Broncos D/ST).

Now, as for the Eagles, any team that loses on a last second 62-yard FG is due for some good luck. I'm hoping they can turn it around for the second half, though they've already made my season by making T-HO look like a dipshit in their first matchup.

Colston's been a good catch this season, as has Gore. I have Colston on 2 of my teams, and he's come in handy thats for sure

I just spent the last few hours going over the results of my 14 Fantasy Football teams...takes bloody forever.

I have 3 teams on a 7-2 record
I have 4 teams on a 6-3 record
I have 2 teams on a 5-4 record
I have 4 teams on a 4-5 record, and
I have 1 shitty team on a 3-6 record, but 2nd half of season could be good

Other players that i've snatched up since the drafts that have done well include Damon Huard (Chiefs QB), Marion Barber (Cowboys RB), Jerrico Cotchery (Jets WR), Bernard Berrian (Bears WR), Mike Furrey (Lions WR), Daniel Owens (Texans TE), Thomas Jones-Drew (Jags RB), Philip Rivers (Chargers QB), Chester Taylor (Vikings RB), and Ryan Jennings (Pack WR)

Those who do Fantasy Football, which websites do you use?

Colston is simply a steal. On yahoo they list him as a TE (how perfect!) for leagues that force you to use the TE. He looks 170 lbs ..lol
TE my ass! I took a chance on him with brees and have him on all my teams. It has worked out great :)

I havent noticed Colston listed as a TE on yahoo, must check that out.
I knew Brees would be great for the Saints, so i had no worries at all when i drafted him in a few of my leagues. And so far, he's in the top 5 best QB's.

Havent had many players in my teams who were complete busts, except Culpepper and Bledsoe, but i dropped Culpepper after the 3rd or 4th week, and Bledsoe after Romo took over.
