Because they can?

This is a good album. It's different from their earlier stuff, but it's still a damn good album. And for the record: THERE IS NO NU-METAL TO BE FOUND ON THIS ALBUM!!!

Before this turns into a Everyone vs. Ken "this isnt nu metal" Eyezor, I'd just like to say:

This album is pretty shitty. Was hoping for something better. Definatly
not liking the vocals or the boring riffage.

.:crast:.

Are you suggesting there was and I'm wrong? Or are you implying that I once said that?

From the track I've heard, it seems they're trying to be a bit prog about it. Which is good. And I hear no nu-metal, or fake emotion, Dolving genuinely seems enough of a nutter to mean what he says.

I'm sure it's a grower...

i like this record, and feel maybe a hint of hardcore in it, but no nu metal...

Ok, I phrased that wrong. I meant the vocals had some Nu Metal qualities. Not the whole band. The qualities I found were those few whispered-gradually-getting-louder phrases and that whining singing style.
