It's better than Bledsoe drops back to pass, he's waiting, he's waiting, he's waiting, he's still waiting, oh and there's the sack.

I can't stand the Cowboys. I've never been a fan, and now that TO is on the team I hate them even more. I have nothing against Romo... or Parcells for that, but the Cowboys can shit in each other’s helmets.

I hate the Cowboys for four reasons:

1) They are frequently labeled as "America's Team".

2) I'm an Eagles fan.

3) Jerrel Wayne Jones - The biggest cocksucker ever to own a professional sports franchise.

4) Duane Charles Parcells - The biggest cocksucker ever to coach a professional sports franchise.

I am an old school Cowboys fan from the Staubach days from my dad. I don't really follow them much anymore though after Aikman and those guys left but I still root for them.

I dont think they've been refered as 'America's Team' since they last won a Super Bowl (Super Bowl XXX, against Pittsburgh in 1995), and especially since players like Aikman, E. Smith, Irvin, D. Johnson and A. Harper have retired/moved on

Green Bay stole the role as 'America's Team' after they won the Super Bowl in '96 against the Patriots, and held onto it for a few seasons.

Dont know who holds that name now...

If anybody should hold that title, it should be the Patriots.

EI's right about the Pats. However, I still hear the 'boys labeled as such even now. If a team is ever saddled with that title, unless it's the Eagles, I'm probably going to loathe them terribly, fair or not.

I think the Colts will soon become the new "America's Team"

They actually have to win super bowls and games that matter to even be considered that. Dont get me wrong, Im from D.C. so I never liked the cowboys, but the colts are so predictable. They play great in the regular season, but suck in the playoffs (when it matters most).

How did the cowboys get the title americas team anyway? Maybe its cause they were the 1st team to win 5 super bowls?

I said soon for that reason, they are yet to win a Super Bowl (excluding the Baltimore Colts). But they will, if not this season, then next. After that, i dont think they will get many chances.

The only team really standing in their way this season is San Diego. I think those two will play off in the AFC Championship, at Indy.

To a lesser extend, Baltimore and Denver, who will definatelly make the playoffs, but will fall short in the AFC Divisionals. I dont think the Pats have as much depth as they used to, but will only make the playoffs cos their in the same division as the Jets, Bills and Fins.

Which leaves one team left to make the playoffs in the AFC. If the Bengals can get off their current snide, it will be them. If not, the Jags or Chiefs will stumble into the playoffs.

The Cowboys got the America's team moniker because no matter where you go in the country, you'll find a Cowboys fan. I know that's true for the other 31 teams these days, but I guess back in the 70's it wasn't that way.

Yeah, and they were on TV every week almost anywhere and at Thanksgiving.

NESS, so how's your Fantasy Football team(s) going?

How bout those Fins, 4 wins in a row! :D

The 'Boys are starting to make their move, i dont think the G-Men can hold onto 1st position in the East...too many injuries on the defense.

The Broncos are now equal with the Chiefs in the AFC West. I now think the Chargers, Chiefs and Broncos will make the playoffs...with maybe the Jags and Bengals missing out. It will be close.

Hows this for a gutsy call.

In one of my Fantasy teams, i had McNabb. Out for the season, i had to replace him. Cant think right now who my backup is, but i remember that i didnt want to use that guy for week 12 as it was a bad matchup.
So i look in the free agents QB's....not much there. But one player stood out. So i picked him up and after a little thought, i put him straight into the line up as a starter...

Who was it?

Joey Harrington

over 200 yards passing, 3 TD's against his old team. I think i've got at least 24 points from him.
I love it when gutsy calls pay off

Wow good call. Yeah a guy in my fantasy league had McNabb. This of cours led him to the top of our league with a star running back (Larry Johnson) and QB. His team is finished now though. Right now I'm 8-3 so I'm hoping with a loss for him and a win for me will bring us all tied up at 9-3. Roy Williams had a pretty good game as well as TO, so things are looking good for me so far.

The Dolphins are looking very good. Huge turn around.

Anquan Boldin or Javon Walker

Who should I start?

Boldin for 2 reasons

1: Denver is starting their rookie QB, Jay Cutler this week

2: The Rams pass defence is very dodgy

For damn sure Boldin. Leinert had 405 yards last week and he is starting to really settle in. He is going to be awesome now that they are throwing down field. Boldin will have a big day against the Rams. Cards still suck but Leinart is the real deal. Shannahan will go all conservative and Cutler won't have Romo like luck.

lol

As it turned out, both Boldin and Walker did fuck all, but at least you got more points from Boldin (depending on the website).

So far, 7 of my 14 fantasy teams have made it to the playoffs, while there are 3 teams who's destiny lies in this last week....the other 4 are done and dusted for the season...but at least i havent had really bad seasons with any team...the worst record is only 5-8.

Yeah they both screwed me. Good call on Boldin though (2+ more than Walker).

Anyway, my one team is sitting at 10-3 tied for the lead. I'm playing way more than one fantasy team next year.
