You sound and look like a total pansy.

I thought that the guitarist (Tim Roth?) did the death vocals, not the lead singer?

Spot on review. Definitely one of my favorite albums this year.

Dude, quit commenting on the shitty rip that you downloaded and listened to through your internal computer speaker. Seriously.

It's clear now that you're doing this shit to get under peoples' skin and it's tiring. To suggest that the vocals are too low in the mix is a clear indication that you're just fucking with people as it could be further from the truth. Cut it out.

My my new computer makes mp3s sound much better than CDs do on my CD player (which has since been eliminated...mwahahhaha). There's definitely something wrong with the vocals, they just sound thin and weak. Since the singer on Buried in Oblivion had exactly the same problem as the guy on this album I assumed it has to do with how they're recording the vocals rather than both vocalists just being terrible.

Go to the doctor and have the wax flushed from your ears.

Or maybe there's something wrong with your shitty speakers. That would explain your problem...and I'm willing to bet you had a shitty CD player as well.

And by the way, Into Eternity sounds absolutely nothing like Trivium...

I don't like the clean vocals at all.

A lot of people seem to have a problem with them. I don't understand why. I think he has a great voice on record and even more so live.

It's weird, right? It's not like his clean vocals are unique or anything. He sounds like a ton of other singers.

Ok I heard a few IE songs today and they were a lot better than I remembered. I still think some of the clean vocals (both singers) are just too sweet, but when they stick to the PM-style vocals its not bad. I'll need to steal one of their albums or something and make my mind up.

I'll rate this album around an 80.
After a while i got used of the clean vocals, which are IMO not that great. But it's technical enough for me to compensate this..

Picked this album up today, and damn it rules. :dio: I'll need to give it a better listen, but from what I can tell, it's really cool. As of right now, I'd give it a score in the mid-80s, but I think the score'll raise the more I listen to it.

Yep it's your speakers noodles.

Same thing happens to me. The Clean Vocals sound a little weak and don't stand out in the mix to much when I listen to it on my speakers.

Now when I listen to them on my e3c's it's perfect.

For some weird reason the same thing has happened to me many times in the past with various albums. Sometimes the vocals get lost in the mix and I need to change something on the equilizer or use a different playback device in order to hear it. I remember in the past when I used a certain stereo, I had this problem with one In Flames and one Bruce Dickinson album.

My advice is always go through all the equilizer presets such as rock-jazz-classical-pop and so on. Also if you have the following, fiddle with bass boost, surround sound and other such settings.

Or start realizing what is actually 'a good sound' (=the natural sound, the way it was intended to be) and begin to respect music. Then have a reasonably good equipment like me and never, EVER use anything like bass boost, equalizer or factory presets. EVER!!!
