I'm looking for these types of movies, you know, really metal stuff. With long haired hero dudes and lots of killing :P

on a sidenote some of these might have been left out as well, but if you're easy going and sometimes enjoy bad and cheesy movies just for the hell of it then there's no problem :).

Dungeons & Dragons sucks! Watch it if you're in the mood for a comedy. It's not even close to good. I heard the second one is a little better.

There's not a lot of movies in this genre; at least good movies. You can find a ton of sci-fi channel made-for-TV movies that pretty much suck—Earthsea, anyone?—but finding good movies is tough.

Obviously the Lord of the Rings movies are classics already. They're awesome!

Dark Crystal rules, as someone said, but I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for.

Reign Of Fire is an awesome movie, if you ask me! The "leap" at the end is kind of lame, but otherwise the movie was awesome.

Eragon is one to look forward to. Maybe even 300; though there are no dragons and whatnot. Other than that, however, I don't know. I'll look at my DVDs when I get home, but I don't think I have much because there really isn't much out there.

EDIT: Your subject and post are different. Are you looking for fantasy movies or just plain "epic" movies?

Eh, there are next to no good epic fantasy movies. Lord of the Rings is the obvious one; The Thirteenth Warrior is also quite good. Besides that, I haven't seen anything that I've liked.

Yeah, The 13th Warrior is awesome! Even with Antonio Banderas faggin' up the screen.
