You know dude........Sonata Arctica is cool and all but they hardly channel Mozart.

I don't think I have ever met a SA fanatic though so I kind of like it, like studying primates in the jungle.......

I don't compare them to mozart, I compare them to Metallica.

And they have sentimental value for me too, they were the first pm band i heard and they got me in to the whole PM scene.

It is cool, I was just curious how anyone could be fanatical over SA but now I know.

Evanesence still sucks so all is right with the world.........

SA is a good band. Jani is awesome. Tony is a pretty good frontman. And unlike some PM bands, SA has developed a sound that makes them sound like "Sonata Arctica", which is more than alot of PM bands can say. Even though they initially sounded a bit like Stratovarius, they also initially released an album with Full Moon on it, and having a song like that in their catalogue is also better than alot of PM bands can say.

I don't too, that was the point of my remark. I also agree with you that the 60 score didn't fit with the text. If you only read the text, you would believe it got a 20 score.

The only thing I'm saying is when you take a quick look through the reviews without reading the text, you tend to think that something scored 75 is bad when, according to the quotation system, is supposed to represent something VERY GOOD.

But it was only a small complaint...it won't stop me from getting a good night of sleep.

I'm still surprised over the reaction this comment got ! lol! I mean...their jobs is to review someone else's work. Yet, when we make a small complaint about THEIR work...they get all upset ! lol!

Still, the reviews are great, keep up the good work ! Long live METAL REVIEWS !! :dio:
