Meh. It's better than Six Feet Under, but it's flat out boring. Chris Barnes sounds like he phoned in his performance, and the actual music does absolutely nothing to distinguish itself. This is about as "safe" as Death Metal can get, and that folks, is a bad thing. Scenesters will probably lap this shit up, but true Death Metal fans have heard everything this album has to offer, and heard it done better.

It does sound a lot like Six Feet Under, but I like the old-school grooving sound of it. I'm not sure if Chris will continue to sing for them...

I still need to listen to this, i probably will. But i am not really fond of this grooving slow death metal, and never loved Barnes vocals.

It's not as slow as the other stuff you might have already heard as far as Six Feet Under, which is why I mentioned they do speed and thrash things up a bit. Check it out! :dio:

Picked this up today.

Having never heard any of Six Feet Under's stuff, this has inspired me to try to pick some of their stuff up...

I like it.
