So far what I've heard of jazz fusion is Mahavishnu Orchestra, Jeff Beck, Greg Howe and Gordian Knot.

The song I uploaded isn't like other PsyOpus material except for maybe the clean guitar intro of "Death, I..."

Wouldn't really describe it as jazz fusion, although I do like it.

To be honest I don't know much about the genre's modern day permutations, I would recommend stuff like Miles Davis- Bitches Brew, Herbie Hancock- Headhunters (told Dee about this just before he "died" and he liked it a lot, so that should be a good sign for anyone with taste)
