What about the titel?

Of course the news is hot.....or?

Well this news is warm at its best and far from hot. Before you start swearing at me or anything, I'd just like to give you the reason for me saying so.

When you direct us to your website in order to promote your band and saying it's "HOT HOT HOT" then I'd expect to listen to something there. But you know what... there are NO audio samples. Well I've read the bio, seen the pictures (you look very modern hard-rocky - that's good! ) and I thought the calendar idea was cool. But there's still no point to all that if we can't hear what you're worth of, right ?

Well first of all i have not start swearing at you or anything, and i can´t put any audio on the site before the cd is out, thats the recordlabel policy...so before you give me shit for NOT posting any audio, plz ask me why i can´t do so..ok?

And for me and the rest the news is HOT, if it´s not for you, tough luck m8.

And you will hear about MarysCreek in time.......

Enough said in this matter....

Good luck getting anybody to listen to your music there bud.

I might have asked for a review copy if the Icelandic or whatever review you have posted on your website didn't mention the word 'Whitesnake'. And my god, what bands have calendars for people to download?

And it would be a good idea to be nice to people you want to listen to your music, which isn't out until March, and we won't remember by then, so congratulations on your wasted time.

Here´s the deal......it seems to me that you have no clue how the music buisness works and i´m truly sorry for you all. But i can´t put any audio for anybody as long as the record is not out..it is agianst the record label policy, i can get sued if i do...so there you go....even if i would like to, i´m truly sorry but i can´t do that.

And my time is not wasted......

Hi Mats. First of all, sorry if my reply sounded a bit rude but we get used to harsh words here in the forum so sometimes we think that everybody expects us to talk and write like that. I didn't mean to insult you or the band. Truth be told, at least from what I've read, your debut will be a trully rocking one and I'm possitive you'll start getting recogintion very soon.
But on the other hand, you have to admit that no band promotion is good enough without the music. I understand you're under strict rules from the label but there are work-arounds. The easiest you could do is have a "fan" shoot a few videos or clips during some of your live performances and then upload them in youtube. You will not be responsible for that since you didn't do it. Even I can do this if you come to Lund any time soon.
But please (and I say this from a consumer/buyer's perspective), keep in mind that you can't promote your music without the music. You're not Metallica nor Iron Maiden. You have a band that's trying to surface in an endless sea of other similar bands. There have been many other underground bands in the past who got a lot of promotion through this forum just because they offered (ex. Nekrogoblikon). Think, if you were in my place, that I read about a new hard rock back (among thousand others) and visit their webpage, see some pictures, read some news and then nothing else. What is there to keep me willing to return or really anticipating the release of that album ?
I know there's probably not much you can do about it (and it's a trully weird label policy which I hear for the first time) but get in contact with them and try to see if you can do something. I did a lot of searching since yesterday and you seem like an experienced musician with a lot of passion for your music so it would be a waste if you miss this opportunity due to weak promotion. Anyway, that's just my view on things.

Thx for your answer, now you are talking my language...well there is mutch to do still regarding MarysCreek, this is just the beginning and of course there is more then one way to show the world what they are about, but as webmaster and so on it´s not up to me to put audio or video on the net without the boys aproval....things and stuff will appear as soon as i get the goahead...so stay tuned..

If the rest of the album is anything like the samples of the first 3 songs then we're talking about an impressive debut of the ranks of 80+ /100. Very good production and a trully heavy sound for a hard rock release. The singer sounds cool and the guitar player apparently knows his stuff very well judging by the detailed and layered work. I also liked the slightly "darker" feeling those 3 songs had. Now I can honestly say that I'm looking forward to this!

Listened to the samples, and I agree, this is impressive. I've been in a melodic rock mood for a while now, so I can see myself picking this up. Thanks for taking the time to tell us about your band.
