I just been reading about this sport of yours. There's only 32 teams!! wtf! what if you live no where near a team? who do you support then? And no relegation or promotion?? Just one league! How crap is that, apparently teams at the bottom lose on purpose to get a better position in the 'draft'. Thats a disgrace!! I would go fucking mental if Everton threw a game. seriouly, get another league, more team (some history) and then the clubs at the bottom would have something to fight for. Stuart, I really don't think the "losing on purpose" thing happens as much as you've read. In actuality, some of the teams are just THAT awful. Trust me, the coaches and players have too much pride to throw games for the betterment of the organization. Oh, and we do have another league, it's called COLLEGE.

And the way i understood it the college system if just a sort of warm up for player who will eventually go into the pro league. Thats not the same as having a league system where teams are relegated and promoted. You have to admit, for the fans of teams at the bottom of the league, having the prospect of being relgated makes every game very important and makes for more competition (trust me being in a relgation battle is pretty intence to watch, everton have been in their fair share lol). Also you would have new teams in the league every year which just spices things up a little.

I've always felt 32 Teams is too many. There aren't enough truly great players to go around to that many teams, which leads to what we had this year in the NFC, a bunch of shitty teams sneaking into the playoffs with awful records. I mean, Chicago was the best the NFC had to offer, and Indy made them look like amatuers after cutting one of the heads off of their running game. Sadly, it wil probably be the same way in the NFC next year.

I agree. The AFC has been simply dominant the past few years. The Bears were perhaps the most flawed #1 team I have ever seen. I'm not sure they would have even made the playoffs in the AFC.

Can't argue with that. The Bears share alot of similarities with the Broncos (good defense, an offense that runs the ball alot and can't play from behind) and they didn't get in. The Bears would have been lucky to finish 8-8 in the AFC.
