I only heard two songs on their myspace page here and I'm totally stunned! Those guys sound so original and fresh for a prog PM band!! Sure, there are some small production issues, yeah it sounds a bit rough at some points, but you don't notice it after a minute or so. This is one of those times that the music captivates you and then holds you and doesn't let you do anything else while it's playing. I was staring at the moving myspace bar for like a whole 15 minutes while listening to the songs! If the rest of the album is like those 2 songs, then this is surely a must-buy for me! Awesome debut! :dio:

Ok ive heard it, and i must say this is some good shit, my first thought after the first song started was : "mmh i think i got this album figured out" but they throw a few surprises here and there enough to keep me entertained for the whole album, i didnt even notice at first that most of the songs where that long wich in my book is a good thing, i hate when prog bands make long instrumental passages just to "OMG! this is the 30 minute super amazing song full of solos!!! shit your pants puny little mortal because i went to a conservatory and i am the win" *cough* Dream *cough* Theater *cough*.
I have to agree with you on vocals also, this guy does a really good job on the album, oh and i found most of the leads quite great too, the only thing i found lacking in the guitar department was that some of the riffs where too repetitive i just dont like when a band abuses the "chug chug-pause-chug chug" kind of riff with all of its variations, but then again the catchiness of the songs (mostly because of the vocals and leads) saves this album, really nice debut from these guys.

Dream Theater OWN!! And these guys are very good too, but I think the vocals could use some work. I mean he is good, but there was a part towrds the end of the album where he sounded kinf of off pitch. Still I like what I hear. "Veil of Midnight" is my favorite song so far. Nice find Cody.

Mine too!! It has this impressionistic character flowing everywhere inside it that it kind of makes you perceive the notion of midnight in a unique way.

I didnt said these guys were better than DT, that would be crazy(although i dont like them), i mean this is just a debut album and its damn good but DT have a long stablished career, all i said is that i like these guys approach on long songs unlike DT wich i dont.
