Look back at some of the past labels the reviewers have given out. Made up genres are not uncommon here, which makes MR unique IMO. It grabs my attention and forces me to read the review.

I understand "Battle Metal" is a made up genre that some people are trying to pin on bands, but here I think it is merely a way of describing the music a little more clearly than "Folk/Viking metal."



Btw, looking into this band.

I'm actually listening to this right now, and it's pretty good. It's not over the top like Turisas.
