I like Agalloch's vocals and I don't really understand the Pelican reference =)

Whose? Mine?

I just meant that I think Pelican is nice without lyrics and vocals, and Agalloch is nice with them. I don't want to see either band change with regards to this. ... Agalloch's music certainly took more of a metal meets post-rock approach similar to what Pelican has done (while losing some of the neo-folk touches), but I don't really want to see them take it any farther than that.

I meant Misha's, I guess it does have a few more post-rock elements... but when I heard it the first few times it didn't really remind me of Pelican.

You're really missing out on some great music. Check them out as soon as possible. The Mantle is also a superb album.

Thanks. I'll see if I can put in a special order for it.

As as Pale Folklore, their most post-black metal sounding album.

Just ordered:

If you order, make sure you use the "Lucky13" promotion code.

I guess there was a version with a T-shirt, but apparently that has already sold out. :(

Well, the link above was for the limited edition of "Ashes Against the Grain", but I see it's now sold out. Did anyone else here order a copy?

I must own this one, I'm addicted to "The Mantle", and although it seems it sounds completely different, I feel that this band will never disappoint me... well I hope so....

Don't know if anyone is interested but there's a limited double LP of this available right now. Actually, there are two versions, each ltd. to 400 copies. One is a standard black vinyl, and the other is a transparent orange. Both have a bonus track.

You're not alone, and I am positive that Agalloch will never disappoint.

This finally turned out to be last years finest record, and one of the best ever.
