Good for you Noodles. Keep trying with that Negura Bunget. I don't get the constant Wolves in The Throne Room appeal but..whatever.

Don't disagree with me again :P

As we know, I disagree with you whenever I want as long as I like Wood of Ypres. :P

Well, don't you dare say anything negative about the new album when it comes out.
But not to worry, it will pwn.

I can't see any reason to expect a bad album; everything Wood of Ypres has done is either awesome or at least good. So I'm not worried. :dio:

I liked Wolves in the Throne Room and  Negura Bunget, even if they go over the top with ambience a few times. It's weird how some of the synthy parts of Om are more overwhelming than the black metal parts.

I kept meaning to reply to this thread... I really don't care for Aborym's earlier albums, but I really like this one. I don't know exactly what it is because, to be honest, I haven't really listened to it enough or compared it to the others closely, but this one hits a good chord with me. And I think Faust turns in a nice performance on the drums; I'm glad he dropped Dissection and got the chance to play here.

Pretty solid overall, I think, and as I alluded to, it's the kind of album that I'd recommend to someone even if they didn't like the band before. I'm glad I gave it a chance.
