Hey Adam, how about a Pagan Altar review? your the only reviewer here that could do them justice, you could even review their 2006 release Mythical & Magical, IMO Pagan Altar is one of the best bands on the face of the planet.

Yeah, I'd like to get in a review of them at some point. They are indeed awesome. I've got them and Witchfinder General earmarked for classic reviews at some point.

So any album isnt allowed to recieve classic status after it has been reviewed? So even new albums that just came out that are just phenomenal (like The Blackening) arent going to be up for classic status 10 years from now? I dont mean to come off sarcastic if I have, I am not trying to come off that way. I just was wondering now that you mentioned that.

I think they generally don't do a 2nd review of an album because there's already a big enough list of albums that havent been reviewed at all yet.

Would it be acceptable if some insane reviewer gave a classic album 10/100?

They both do really. noodles is right that we have enough holes in the classic section that it would be counter productive to re-write an old review. On the other hand, if an album has attained obvious classic status, it would be nice to be able to change the original quote to CLASSIC and move it into the classics section. I'm not sure how much work that would take, but I'll pass the notion along.

Thats more along the lines of what I wanted, I dont think a re-review is needed. Thanks for helping answer my question everyone.

But then again, do we really want to set a precedent for putting Nevermore in the classics section? As a responsible citizen, I think not.

I am sure it wouldnt apply just to Nevermore. Its any album from any band that came out in the past few years.

I haven't forgotten, and it will get one, I promise. I have been extremely busy lately as I get closer to the birth of my daughter. I usually write reviews on the weekend since it's the only free time I have lately, and I finally have a few weekends coming up where I won't be going out of town. Just trust me, it's coming...soon, as is the Kreator - Coma of Souls classic review.
