Really good review. I liked this album when I first heard it and I like it more everytime I listen to it. It is Thresholds best in years (they are all good though). Slipstream, Fighting for Breath, Disappear, and Pilot in the sky of dreams are all amazing. The entire album is a perfect mix of technicality, riffing, and just plain old good songwriting. I always liked the Damien WIlson era of Threshold more but Mac really shines on this album. Swano's contributions are all tasteful and adds a new layer to Thresholds music that I hope they keep.

Man I love this album! Definately number 1 for me so far this year. Slipstream, Hollow, and Pilot In The Sky of Dreams alone are worth a purchase and the rest of the songs are basically just as good!

This could be very good. I hate the soulless, CGI cover that seems to be Nuclear Blast's trademark these days.

Seriously folks, this is mandatory listenage. Do yourself a favor and download it, and then buy it, and require this album to spin for at least a week!

I've ordered the album, but I haven't recieved it just yet. I'll add my 2cents as soon as I give it a few spins. I loved Subsurface.

I checked these guys out on MySpace, and it was good heavy/progressive metal but I didn't really like the vocalist, especially on "Slipstream" or whatever.

Do you use other than Internet Explorer? Coz at least on Opera if you stop a song in order to play it later it freezes the player until you restart the browser
Anywayz, you probably just don't have (the latest) Flash Player installed? get flash!

Nah, its pretty much just Myspace. God awful programmers they have over there. If you are going to have such a complex site, make it work!

Get the latest Flash Player and stop sitting on the problem!! :)
Though I recall it's a bit trickier to update Flash on Opera... I think you must first download the installer to your computer and then run it. The update won't work online (it just updates your Flash to IE)...

Actually, it's most likely just Opera. I know coz I use Opera too and experience lockups frequently. 99% of the time it works in IE, so it's not myspace's fault. Even though they might have bad programming, it works 100% on IE, so it's just browser compatibility. There's just the few odd times when someone has deleted (dunno really?) their song from rotation and it doesn't load, but this has happened to me only a couple of times in a year.

Just listened to it, yet another totally solid output from Threshold we have here. Nothing mindblowing, but thoroughly enjoyable.

Pretty good album. Doesn't grab me as much as their previous release for whatever reason. This one is more straight forward, yet hard hitting with some bottom end. I prefer the dreamy sound of Subsurface. I need to listen to it Dead Reckoning more anyway.

On thing that kind of bugs me is that on Theshold's website the song Slipstream that is playing has an extended keyboard solo, which sounds so cool, yet is missing from the CD version. I minor gripe, but bugs me none-the-less.
