I don't fucking know.

Has been a matter on my mind for 4-5 years now... Eternal, infinite, endless.... a wonder beyond words.

Should be obvious enough. I only use it for this board and ytmnd though, and I kind of regret choosing it because it sure does look gay.

It's an in-joke between me and my friends, and a character in a flash cartoon series we planned that never materialized.

Azrael is what Death calls himself in Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman's "Good Omens". awesome book btw.

the character wasn't that awesome or important (although all his lines were IN CAPS), but Azrael just sounds so cool for some reason.

NESS is a character on Earthbound, best game on the planet. Some buddies of mine call me Ness, b/c I would use it every time I would log in somewhere or if we went bowling or something.

I was in love with Alexi Laiho when I signed up.

It's actually my middle name. But in reality my middle name has a "u" on the end, so Riou. I often don't spell it like that to save retards from trying to pronounce my name like a streetfighter character.

For some reason, I didn't want to use the same username here as I did on some other boards I was using then, so I decided on Tyrion and started posting that way (on the old boards). He's a character from G.R.R. Martiin's "Ice and Fire" series as I think several other members have read or are reading too. He's one of my favorite characters, but the name really doesn't suit me,. I've never changed it though and probably never will. I wouldn't know what to change it to anyway, heh.

I got this one from H.P Lovecraft's The dream quest of Unknown Kadath. It became the name of my solo black metal project as well

I am fascinated by serpents/snakes. More so since my interest grew in the dark and occult. Serpents have been associated with evil and darkness. Not just their association with these things but, I find them majestic and enigmatic. Cute too. I have the picture of a real cool looking serpent on my room's door. I listened to The Serpent King by God Dethroned and it became one of my fav tracks. I started using the name SerpentKing for posting earlier, but it sounded pretty cheesy and more over, I borrowed the idea from God Dethroned. Then, I decided on the name Thy Serpent, cos I found it pretty cool. I latter came to know that there is a black metal band by that name. But I chose that before I came to know that a band with that name exists, so it was pretty much something I thought about. I thought of changing it to The Serpent after coming to know about it, but Thy sounds much more cooler.

i just read through a list of demons and the likes untill i saw "Astaroth". Besides being the right hand of satan or something like that, he's also a math teacher of some sort!? .. like me!!!
but he's character differs alot depending on where you look on the net. Other places he's totally gay.
