Now I'm off to see if I can tell the difference between Converge albums.

I've sort of given up on the subjective idea off musical talent and I'm just gonna say that the members of Tool are the most talented musicians ever at their respective instruments, just because it annoys jazz fans.

That was some sucky proof, didn't impress me much at all.

sarcasm

np: Bozzio / Wackerman - Charleston, South Carolina "Alternative Duets Vol.1" <-- these guys are pretty good drummers

White people playing Jazz blows ass.

Racist pig j/k :P

I'm serious, Black people do Jazz way better than White folks.

I'd say historically that's very true, very nearly all the greatest jazz pioneers are black. Nowadays though there's probably a lot more balance, there are many amazing white jazz musicians in the world today.

Yeah, something like that, although let's not forget Bailey.

Dude just becuse it's a jazz drummer.... Jeezuz. If you've seen one video of Flo Mounier you would know he can do the exact same tricks on this video 2 times faster than Dennis Chambers.

Hmmm....

Hmm what? Flo can do all those one handed rolls and random cymbal hits with snare hits inbetween a lot faster than this guy does.

That doesn't matter Kathy. Flo is a metal drummer, and it is a proven Misha fact that every jazz drummer is better than every metal drummer!!

Where are the one hands rolls you talk about?
Speed is not everything, Flo is really fast, but his dynamics leave me kinda bored. Watch this:

Faster than Flo as well btw.
My favourite drummer is a metal drummer, in case you wondered, I think he's the best living drummer, and he owns Flo in speed, if you value that.

That's not fster than flo. That's not faster than the guy from my band. You gotta be kidding me. Watch some his videos in youtube there aren't taht many of them.

Kathy, you gotta be deaf man, that's some of the cleanest and fastest rimrolls there is on the planet. He holds a record for the world's fastest drummer btw, although it's now beaten my Mangini:

No way, Mangini is way faster AND more awesome. That's about 240 16th notes, I can do that too! for about half a measure :'(

What I like so much about Mangini is the sick polyrhythms and the breathtaking speed. He uses his speed where it needs to be. I like that Johnny Rabb maybe even more, his timing is insane and he has a very original style. Saw a snare solo by him once, that was really amazing. His one hand roll is cleaner than anyone's I've ever seen too.

I agree...I'm not going to pretend like I know a lot about drums but Flo sure looks a hell of a lot faster than Rabb to me. Check this out:

But, Mike Mangini is awesome...

Dude I'm not saying it's not good and fast but that video isn't faster than Flo's stuff. The guy from The Berzerker had a world record too, but he isn't faster or better than Flo too. Flo is insanely fast but very varied too, that's why I like him best He combines speed and variety. So do your guys but Flo outdoes them in speed. My roommate was a big Chambers fan but his fave is Flo now after I showed him his videos, he's been playing drums for 2 years btw.
