besides this, i've only heard Painter and Prowler, and this album beats them both.

what i like about this album is that it slows down without ever becoming boring (some of you may have noticed i have a real problem with slow music), and it doesn't break into mindless blasting that sounds "extreme" but removes all the "flow" from the music. i hate that TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA blasting stop-start riff-ruining shit, and thankfully PD stay away from that.

my favourite song is Alexandria, although they're all good or better.

You gotta hear Terrifyer Az.

Anyway for me PD has established themselves as the "best in business" with this album, great releases in a row. Not a Terrifyer indeed but still very very fucking good. 95. Contender for album of the year.

This album has some very cool riffs although I thought that even though it was only 30 minutes long it kinda dragged (I tend to have that problem with grindcore and brutal death metal >_<). Do their earlier albums have more variety, or how do they compare in general?

In-fucking-credible album. I give it a 95. It's just below Terrifyer in my opinion.

Sounds nothing like terrifyer and thought not quite as good it's still probably one of the best grindcore records this year.
"Xenosapien" definitely needs a review soon. Cephalic Carnage and PD are like two rival brothers in which few can decide who they like better. :dio:

Yea and it would be hard to say if this is more varied than their previous offerings. 38 counts and painter are straight up grindcore. Prowler is grind with strong death metal influences. Terrifyer is like a more refined Prowler, but this one is sort of a mix of everything with a more straightforward twist. Like the review said, it starts off with grind and then ends with more riffage and death metal type parts.

Do you know who did it? Same style as the new Darkest Hour album cover and I think both are dead sexy... artistically-wise.

yea, if you're an agoraphobic nosebleed fan at least one or two of their albums was done by this guy. I'm not sure of his name though. A quick googling would do the trick

That guy is the lead singer of Baroness.

So the last half of this album is pretty awesome but still can't compare to Natasha and Terrifyer.
