Good stuff. "Clouds over California" is a great track, allthough I still wonder how long I will appreciate it as it does feel quite shallow.

This album has more of an "album" feel to it, where as I thought that the previous one had some really good tracks (such as End of the Line, Grinfucked, Pale Horse Apocolypse, Ripped Apart, and Before the hangman's Noose.) but the rest was just kind of filler. As I said in my review though, towards the end the songs don't stand out as much as the ones at the beginning and the middle, but the ones that don't stand out too well on this one are better than the ones that didn't stand out on "The Fury of Our Maker's Hand".

I really enjoyed FOUMH, definitely going to check this out. One of the few metalcore bands I can stand.

Probably because Opeth and Moonspell are in a totally different league from Devildriver, I mean, I listen to all three bands, but Devildriver is easily the worst of those three.

This is a really good album. Some devestating riffs and top class production, although some of the songs don't seem to stand out, I totally agree. I love the vocals, they're really distinctive and seem to take a little influence from everywhere, aswell as sounding out and out freakin' awesome! I was really glad to have discovered this album and to have picked it up, it was totally worth it.
