These guys are really popular here I think. They played one bar three nights in a row and sold all three shows out :o

the albums pretty solid, they certainly know how to write punchy riffs

Well spotted Afro Lint you found the deliberate mistake  When I was checking it over for typos and other mistakes I noticed my fuck-up but forgot to change it before submitting it for uploading. Other mistake is I believe the album has been around since 2005, not a 2007 release as I mentioned. If that's the case, I want to know who's been hiding them from me.

I listened to it for pleasure without my reviewer's ears on and think it is fuckin' brilliant. Definitely gonna keep an eye out for Priestess in the future!!

The album came out in 2005 on Indica Records in Canada only. It got a US release later with a new too-metal cover.

Although this album has been in my collection far a while, I've only just noticed this review, which I must admit is quite accurate!

Agreed with the mulltiband influence, but I think it reminds me most of Wolfmother, with a similar retro-rock feel which entwines through the album as a whole. It's not one I listen to often, but (much like Wolfmother), it's one that I put on and play when I'm in a specific mood (i.e before a gig or a big drink!).

Worth a look, but not world changing (However, the song 'Lay Down' has become quite infectious due to it's inclusion on Guitar Hero 3!!).

85/100

I saw these guys live (opening for Mastodon) and was pleasantly surprised by their show. Pretty faithful representation of their performances on the album and a fun listen. I would recommend these guys to anyone who likes standard hard rock.

New song is up, and it's fucking AWESOME! From the live clips I've heard of new songs over the past year or so, this album seems like it'll be a lot of heavier. This new song is heavier than anything on Hello Master.

Can't wait for this fucker. Hello Master still gets regular spins. :dio:

Thanks for that update, didn't know they posted a new song. I look forward to getting Prior To The Fire and writing the review, don't know if it can top Hello Master but I hope so.
