Quite good album... the intro literally made me laugh my ass off until I was gasping for air and had tears in my eyes

Yeah, I can't believe he actually did it.....

Anyway, the music is pretty good, but it sounds exactly the same as all their albums, that's why I can't give it a higher score. Also it didn't hook me a lot, I listen to it once in a while but not too much.

And as much as it might appeal to you to support all this.
In essence our nature it's just pathetic since you'd shit in your fucking pancies if confronted to the real world out there.
And what is with you fucking morons, dissing men like Eminem and Manson? What? Is that jealousy due to the fact of them bringing this shit to the masses without pretentions for style.
I mean at least in their case the audience reflects the artist, right? Which is something that can't be said for Shining now is it?
So take a long good look at yourself, because maybe Shining isn't really your thing, maybe you should just turn on the radio and forget all about these obscure releases you have to buy in order to listen to.
And maybe you should just give the fuck up understanding the perspectives of schizophrenics and psycho's making art just to destroy the minds of stupid little kids with too big allowances.
Shining is not into building an army! Shining is not a promise for the future! Shining is just the pain of being human, here and now.
If during through the whole organized misanthropy thing I suggest you go for shit like Dimmu Borgir instead, like me!

I've heard that the guy is quite a cunt; that you sned money to his distro and he never sends what you bought... I strictly recommend nobody purchases from his distro.

Hilarious, actually; if he is serious, which is questionable.
But I will agree that this art is not for the weak, I mean he makes some valid points in his diatribe, but I don't really get the Eminem/Manson reference...
It's like the Goth sub-culture: there are the few that understand and then there are the wannabe's cutting themselves, wearing all black, all the time. etc. in that sense, both the Goth and Black metal sub-cultures are similar, in that you have the ones that understand and those that find it fashionable, or romantic, to pretend a fatalistic suicidal world view. wallowing in their assumed depression, the point, or the essence soaring right over their heads.
I do not believe that we are all potential child molesters and rapists etc., thats BS, but the depths of depravity in which humanity is able to sink to is mind-boggling; how can the same species produce a Beethoven or Wagner and a Stalin or Dahmer, not to mention all of the unheard of atrocities going on, maybe right next door, every hour, every day. Hatred is a good thing if it is directd at the appropriate target, and can keep a thinking person sane; hatred for everything for it's own sake seems to me to be a symptom of self-loathing. And blah, blah, blah, etc., etc.

BTW thanks Daniel, for the commentary on the diatribe, it about sums it up... although the part about poseurs is mostly true, he sounds like an idiot, as if we of little worth know nothing of hate, or sadness, etc.
And the comment regarding Eminem/Manson destroys any credibilty at all this guy may have had, like you said.

I've never hard problems with Selbstmord... my Shining box should be on the way, a friend of mine who ordered it too got it yesterday. If I fail to receive it in about a week too, I'll give him hell.

OK guys I have something important to tell you,

I've been investigating and it seems this intro isn't in the retail version, to be honest with you, I dloaded the album so that I could review it as fast as possible, and it appears to be a promo version. So far it seems that only the promo had this intro and it's origin is unknown.

So in order to avoid confussion I will erease my rant about it in the review.

Don't erase it, just say it's not in the commercial release! And if that is true, can we have the introduction to listen to ourselves?? (MP3, WTF).

I actually really loved the intro... So damn funny..

The problem seems to be that Shining didn't record it. It seems that a certain band has problems with Shining and they recorded the intro and somehow added it to the promo so that they would get fucked... only rumours though so I won't reveal the band's name.

Go on, it was Green Day, wasn't it! Bastards.

Yes, the score has nothing to do with the rant.

I've never been a Shining fan, but if you are one then you will most definitely like it.
