Eh. I suddenly feel disappointed by the story. It's not as emotional as Halo 2, nor as mysterious and atomspheric as Combat Evolved. It's just a bunch of bright and shiny (albeit shallow) cutscenes.

Hate to say it, but Bungie fucked up with this one.

I play mostly for the online...I've played the story for about 5 minutes. :dio:

I've played this quite a bit, and I agree the story was pretty weak. It doesn't really have the same atmosphere as the other ones... It is almost like they tired to do too much. The online is a lot of fun though, and I'll be in love with it if they bring back SWAT.

I haven't played through the story line all the way yet, but the story doesn't seem too weak to me. The story is allowing for more interesting scenarios to fight through. Alot ofthe enviroments and layouts seemed rehashed to me, since your on another halo.
