Any white person who brought the element of civilization had the right to take over this continent.

Yikes. It's rather worrying that Rush, one of my favorite bands, are such huge fans of her's.

"Remember when I said I liked you and would kill you last?
......I lied!"
"Don't bother my friend, he's dead tired."

"Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?"
"You can't kill me, you made me!"
"YOU made me first."
"Looks like Jimmy got a little hot under the collar!"
"You know what, I'm glad you're dead. I'm glad you're dead!"

"Don't go looking for snakes you might find them
Don't turn your eyes to the sun you might blind them
Haven't I seen you here before?
No, there ain't no heroes here"

The following are all Douglas Adams.

"If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands."

"I find the whole business of religion profoundly interesting. But it does mystify me that otherwise intelligent people take it seriously."

"Getting a movie made in Hollywood is like trying to grill a steak by having a succession of people coming into the room and breathing on it. "

"In the beginning the universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move." - (The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy)

One of the best 1st lines of a book ever:

"The sun rose slowly, as if it wasn't sure it was worth all the effort." (Terry Pratchett)

Thanks, Antonakis!

Quote:
Marty DiBergi: It's very pretty.
Nigel Tufnel: Yeah, I've been fooling around with it for a few months.
Marty DiBergi: It's a bit of a departure from what you normally play.
Nigel Tufnel: It's part of a trilogy, a musical trilogy I'm working on in D minor which is the saddest of all keys, I find. People weep instantly when they hear it, and I don't know why.
Marty DiBergi: It's very nice.
Nigel Tufnel: You know, just simple lines intertwining, you know, very much like - I'm really influenced by Mozart and Bach, and it's sort of in between those, really. It's like a Mach piece, really. It's sort of...
Marty DiBergi: What do you call this?
Nigel Tufnel: Well, this piece is called "Lick My Love Pump".

That was a real  moment.

Finally got Metal: A Headbanger's Journey today, and although it's a bit short, this deserves to be shouted from the rooftops:

Quote:
Necrobutcher (Mayhem): Could you repeat the question?
Sam Dunn: Alot of people think that Black Metal is starting to lose touch with its roots...
Necrobutcher (Mayhem): [cuts Sam off] Which ones? Who are they? Who the fuck are you talking to? FUCK THEM! Ya know...
Sam Dunn: ...Do you have a comment on that?
Necrobutcher (Mayhem): Yeah, I got a comment... FUCK YOU!... Ya know?

:dio:
