on a bit of a side-note, i can't stand myspace, you can't even skip parts of songs and the goddamn site won't even work right on Opera. bands just just post youtube links, even if there's no video, just some still image or the lyrics or something.
The sad fact is, it's become so ubiquitous that for most it's the easiest way of checking a band out. I never bother with much else than a MySpace link, since most people can access it fine and it does provide enough of a listen to be useful, generally.
