On a one to one comparison, that's dirt cheap. A pack of 20's cost us RM 8.50. But, if you convert your 3.60 to ringgit.....that's....18 ringgit!!! Holy fuck, that's over the edge!

How is a regular worker that gets 1000-1200 € a month supposed to make it? I mean the only way out of it is buying tobacco, it costs about 4 € and you can get 70-80 cigs out of it...

Cut down smokin, then!! :P

Rolling ciggs are way cheaper, but it's a fuckin hassle. I'm a lazy bum. If the prices here go any higher, I'll resolve to rolling. But as I said, I'm lazy.....even to roll. So I guess I'll quit when that happens.

Yea i am a lazy bum too. It's just too awesome to take out the cigarette and start smoking immediately. I'll start robbing banks probably, if they dont cut prices down.

if you're too lazy to roll there are these contraptions that roll them for you, you just put the rice paper, filter and tobacco in the spot and close a lid and the rolled cig comes out on the other side.

Same here. Will drink eventually, but smoking is just ugh...never will do it.

Ditto. :O

I hope you don't mind my asking, but how old are you? Legacy and heatseeker, I'm talking to here.

I'm 17. Still a young'un.

Metal Reviews Babies club for sure...
Almost 17.

Thought so. See if you all still feel the same way in five, ten years...

I'm 23 and I don't smoke or drink. I watched both maternal grandparents die from smoking-related illnesses (my grandmother from breast cancer, my grandfather from his body saying, "Well, fuck you, too.") and alcoholism runs rampant in my family.

Can't accuse me of being straightedge, though. :P

I seem to have been drinking slightly more the past couple of days. Whether it's the fact that I've been working longer hours, or just miss the taste of ale, who knows? The point is, a couple of these

finish a day off perfectly.

Smoking is probably the most idiotic thing mankind ever invented.

Drinking is ok, though it should probably be forbidden to certain idiots.

Religion in itself is not an idiocy. It was the only way early humans could explain the world and phenomenons around them. Religion was an important tool in the development of human rase, that's why it appeared in virtual every community. I agree that, in 2007, it's pretty dumb to embrace the explanations for the world's origin presented in writings from millennia ago, or to try to live your life by moral codes set up in those ages, but I also understand why some people are doing it. I also agree that some religions (mainly christianity and islam, but others too) caused plenty of evil during centuries, but this doesn't change the fact that religion was a necessity to man.

Smoking, on the other hand...

Smoking made me the most feared senior in the neighbourhood. I would drive to the football field, boots on one hand, while a cigarette on the other, puffing away while I say "Get the fuck outta the field, it's our turn!". And you should see how all the kids scram...
