So, how was it? Did you dress up? Did you scare small children?

Dull here. There was a blackout for about ten minutes, but no trick-or-treaters whatsoever.

I dressed up as a pirate, and was dissapointed to find out that only four other people I saw today also dressed up at Mcgill- two of which were friends of mine. Drank some beers, ate some candy, and am now doing candy giving out duty and yelling "YARRRRR" a lot.

I hate Halloween. If I see any kids, I'll shoot 'em. No good pesky animals...

I worked, then sat at home alone for 5 hours playing Ratchet & Clank for ps2 and then went to my mom's house and robbed her blind of her chips and pop. And found out I could buy a 52 inch tv for only 400 bucks, I have to see it first though.

Only saw 4 people trick or treating, not many kids in this area anymore. When I was a kid the place was packed, at least 100 or more kids wandering about.

I dressed up as Pyramid Head, but I didn't have a butcher's smock, so I just used some semi-formal dress.

I dressed up in all green and had a bottle of Guiness... hardly anyone else at school was dressed up, except one guy in a ninja. Not really doing anything special tonight though, all the parties were last weekend.

Well Halloween was pretty dull here. Just finished my first paper of my final examinations. 3 more to go. Anyway, since not many of you were in a real Halloween mood (including me), here's a joke.

A couple were invited to a swanky family masked fancy dress Halloween party. The wife got a terrible headache and told her husband to go to the party alone.

He, being a devoted husband, protested, but she argued and
said she was going to take some aspirin and go to bed and there was no need for his good time to be spoiled by not going. So he took his costume and away he went.

The wife, after sleeping soundly for about an hour, woke without pain and as it was still early, decided to go to the party.

As her husband didn't know what her costume was, she thought
she would have some fun by watching her husband to see how he acted when she was not with him.

So she joined the party and soon spotted her husband
in his costume, cavorting around on the dance floor, dancing with every nice "chick" he could and copping a little feel here and a little kiss there. His wife went up to him and being a rather seductive babe herself, he left his new partner high and dry and devoted his time to her. She let him go as far as he wished, naturally,
since he was her husband.

After more drinks he finally whispered a little proposition in her ear and she agreed, so off they went to one of the cars and had passionate intercourse in the back seat.

Just before unmasking at midnight, she slipped away and went home and put the costume away and got into bed, wondering what kind of explanation he would make up for his outrageous behaviour.

She was sitting up reading when he came in, so she asked what
kind of time he had. "Oh, the same old thing. You know I never have a good time when you're not there."

Then she asked, "Did you dance much?" He replied, "I'll tell you, I never even danced one dance. When I got there, I met Pete, Bill Brown and some other guys, so we went into the spare
room and played poker all evening."

"You must have looked really silly wearing that costume playing
poker all night!" she said with unashamed sarcasm.

To which the husband replied, "Actually, I gave my costume to your Dad, apparently he had the time of his life."

Halloween is still widely regarded as a bit of an imported "tradition", so no one really pays much attention to it. there is some decoration here and there but outside the nightlife areas i think you won't find many people in costume, and even there they're a small minority.

don't know how the really young folks regard the day, though.

Halloween is a newly imported tradition in Denmark too, and only children pays attention to it, if any. "Funny" enough, it is the shops that has imported the tradition, just like Valentines day. Neither existed in Denmark when i was a child.
Personally i find the Halloween tradition silly and pointless, he he.

sure, we might have silly traditions too in Denmark. But it can't be commercialized, he he, so it's not worth exporting

The funny thing about many traditions is that they originate from european pagan traditions/religions and/or myth. Just like Halloween.

it's not really popular here, some highschool students throw halloween parties but they generally suck ass. I have nothing against Halloween but it really isn't my thing.

 That's my favorite Jaden photo. Did you get that pentagram necklace at a costume shop, or did you just have it lying around?

Bought it, along with the axe, horns, and fake blood. The rest is just old clothing I tore up. Only invested about $15.
