My problem is that MIT actually owns a very large portion of the internet (If you at all know anything about how the net works, everything has an IP address in the form of xx.xxx.xxx.xxx - MIT owns every IP that starts with 18.xxx.xxx.xxx, that's 1/256 of the internet), thus, it's a large target by record and gaming companies, because it has a huge bandwith usage, most of which comes from torrent uploads of illegal material.

The other day I was uploading at 5 Megs a second on torrent. It sends off red flags. Facebook doesn't require that much bandwith.

As you know, Oink got shut down a while back, so I think the UK police are stepping up against this sort of thing.
