My friend bought this album on Saturday and he loves it. :O

Sounds pretty good to me too.

I once paid $30 for it on evilBay to have the original WAR copy. So, those of you who are younger and count your hard earned rupees, take advantage of Regain reissue while it lasts.

Nice review Alex, a true gem in the coffin of Black Metal. It's only me or this style suited them better than the new one? It's a shame they never released something as good as this.

I think they tried to experiment on Diabolical, and got swept away by the new wave of Swedish BM. I still like Sheol, however.

It's still boring meloblack, can't figure out what the buzz is/was about this album. Perhaps it's something of a first-album-lover thing?

They're one of those bands that are not great but don't suck eithier. I can enjoy it while it's playing, but I'll forget everything about it 5 seconds after it's over.

I honestly think it's one of the most bland albums in my collection. Can't believe I wasted 20$ on it. I think I gave it three or four spins, that's all. Nothing struck a chord in me, nothing stayed imprinted on my eardrums.
