My mum, who's an ex-hairdresser, told me my hairline was starting to recede. Time to think about rockin' the Devin Townsend skullet, methinks. Anyone else getting a little thin on top?

I am 16! That's what makes it most worrying. And people tell me how great my hair is. I just looked in the mirror and yes, it's definetly going. If I ever join a black metal band I'll take have to take the Deathspell Omega route and have no promo shots. Baldness ist so no krieg.

Baldness sounds absolutely sucky. Several people close to me have receeding hairlines. One of them has glorious bronze hair with large, tight curls and it's disappearing backwards :sad:

However, all is not lost. Your hairline may not recede all in one go, and it may recede slowly. Some hairlines recede in a way that allows you to put your hair over bald spots without looking weird.

My hairline started to receed in my teens as well. It sucks but on the other hand I never have to think about my hairstyle anymore (I cut it down to like 1-2 millimetres every month or so). What pisses me off more is that I'm now 24 years old and I still can't grow a beard worth shit, I can only grow a few patches of beard scattered but not an even coat. A good beard totally makes up for baldness in my opinion. Too bad I got screwed on both fronts :/
