I assume because it is British. I'm actually kind of making a defeatist assumption because there hasn't been a single US business that has accepted it while I've been here. I've just been paying for everything in cash.

I may try to order something, you never know it's possible it could work.

You got PayPal? With a credit card you should be able to get an account, and both accept PayPal. I actually like using PayPal more because it's easier to get your money back if some dickhead screws you over (Chavis Records owner, I'm talking to you! Asshole!).

The debit card should work with paypal or paypal could take your checking account.

Yeah, debit should work. Anything that can verify your bank account. They make two deposits into your account (just a few cents each) and then your verify the amounts online, then you should be good to go.
