Thanks for the praise. If you're into the stoner sound, this is a can't miss album.

Great review Jay! I just love the drums and the singing on this album, a great one for stoners but I recomend most people to check them out. Fresh blood and some company for the Kyuss records on my wall.

Try sHeavy - Synchronized. They have an Ozzy soundalike on vocals, but I enjoy it. They also have some cool references to toys from the seventies. More akin to stoner rock than High on Fire, which is some of the hardest I've heard in the stoner genre.

I dunno - the vox may take a bit to get used to, but this guy really has carved out a unique vocal style. Check out 'Anointing of Seer' - my favorite on the album because of the awesome vocals.

They're OK, but a lot of stuff just didn't seem to fit in to the albums flow, and the vocals are godawful... Swarm of the Lotus, Mastadon's first album, and Keelhaul are much better sludge metal...

They've got a new album out soon - Death Is This Communion. Only heard one track, but that's pretty good. Would've thought more people would've been into this, it's really just Heavy Metal through a Doomy haze.

The vocals seem to fit the music, methinks.

How is it? I listened to a new song on their Myspace page, and I wasn't sure what to think...
