I find it funnier and easier to insult my own kind so here comes a well-known greek joke.

So there was that girl who married a greek guy. After the wedding and before they left off for their honeymoon, her mother said to her: "Listen to me, my daughter. Greek guys are infamous for their vulgar ways they like sex. If he ever asks you to turn over and put his male member in your other hole, deny it immediately and call me at once!". The daughter agrees with a promise. Many years pass and the mother starts to relax because nothing of the sort has apparently happened. Suddenly, late one night the phone rings! At the other end of the line, the daughter can be heard, weak and almost breathless "Mom! It finally happened as you warned me, he asked me to turn over and do it in my other hole!". The mother screams! "What! Tell me exactly what that bastard told you!" The daughter replies: "Yes, he said that he's finally tired of sex and he wants kids and family so we should do it in the other way now!"

Relax, you shouldn't take things all too seriously. Yes, i have not experienced racism, but race is only a part of being a human, ppl can hate, discriminate and look down on you for so many other reasons - be it appearance, culture or political or what ever - I personally don't care if ppl make fun of me, as long as I don't need to hear it from hostile ppl who are trying to get you down on purpose. Besides the comparisment with black children and catpooh, there has been nothing real to complain about anyway - it's not exactly as if anybody has advertising for genocide...
And if you hate these stereotypical jokes so much, then how about Simpsons and Southpark?!

Besides, you called my first joke blatant political incorrect, which shows you didn't read it probably, put too much emphasis on the fact it was a chinese and black guy + plus you didn't get the last part either or the (so-called) hidden "jokes" I've put in all my longer jokes so far. And yes, the following jokes I made was somewhat political incorrect I hate linguistic jokes for children, anyway.

There's slightly more to racism than advocating genocide. And I'm not exactly a huge Simpsons/Southpark fan, but I can't remember any comparisons in the Simpsons between black children and "catpooh".

You prove my point, anyways - of course people who have never experienced racism don't know what's wrong with telling racist jokes, and if they're so free and easy then I'm sure then there'll be no trouble with me calling the lot of you ignorant bastards who haven't the slightest bit of respect for others.

Just stop with the racist jokes. It's just a very small section out of millions of jokes!

All i'm saying is that there are aggressive jokes and none aggressive jokes - you are very good at taking everything literally. F.ex Azrael's joke about the stingy jewish guy who put death announcement in a newspaper while trying to sell his car .. so fucking what?! Do you really believe ppl believe those stereotypes presented in that particular joke?
And no, Simpsons and South Park do not compare black ppl to catpooh, but they still generalize and make fun of Scottish ppl, Indian ppl, jews and christians and what not. The thing is, ppl now they are stereotypes - there will always be some who don't think it's funny, so what?
Most of jokes presented are rather harmless anyway, unless you are touchy and take everything personal and regard every joke containing a ppl with a nationality or ethnicity as a generalizing racist joke only created to humiliate a certain group of ppl.

Then.. what can you joke about, Zad? Cuz making fun of people with certain political opinions or culture, people with certain "alternative" facial or bodily features, and personal attacks are no better - unless you accept the fact that you can make less aggressive jokes or jokes that are funny because they are provacative or trollish. Context is important, of course...

I have respect for other ppl, but not oversensitive ppl who take themselves (or jokes) all too seriously or everything personal - sure thing, I don't make fun of ppl who have a hard time due a problem or ppl with low selfesteem, I don't make jokes about sex with children or very racistic jokes like " What's a good Nigger? - a dead nigger!". Normally i don't even tell jokes, I'm more the spontanious guy who tells women they are looking really old - apparently the worst thing you can tell a women, but I still pull it off

A question: What do you think about the "Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan"? It is full of so-called "anti-semetic" jokes and what not. I know this jewish guy, called Kim - just as me. He thought that movie was funny as hell, he even highlighted the jewish jokes as some of the best.

It's complex, but with Borat you're laughing as much at how outlandish his Jew-views are as at the Jews themselves. In other words, you're laughing at the racist, not with him.

And yeah, I hear what you're saying about how if we're too sensitive to people then there won't be any jokes at all (bit of an exhaggeration really, I think) and agree up to a point: I think people should be able to laugh at themselves, but racist jokes go beyond that. The sort of people that commonly tell them aren't doing it out of a desire for everyone to be equal. You have no choice about finding the race in question amusing.

People have a right not to be insulted as much as others have the right to insult them, is what I suppose I'm getting at. Must be my polite English background, because as everyone knows, the English are always polite, are excellent in bed and kick colossal amounts of foreign ass. If I was, say, Danish I'd be all rude to people.
