As soon as your vocals kicked in on Impossible Brutality I closed the tab.

You sound like an idiot

don't sing metal, please.

Tell us what you really think, Aaron.
No, no... don't hold back!

BTW, good to see you again, metaphorically speaking, of course!

what I really think would produce a document the same length as Anna Karenina, while at the same time be far more interesting to read then the aforementioned.

valefor is a blast from the past for certain. Good to see you again in the same metaphorically inclined manner.

Who are you?

It's Valefor.

Oh yeah?

Good to see you again, too, Ken!
I missed you most of all.
Anyway, whats in the past is in the past... let's leave it there, shall we?

And on Adveser's singing, it would probably sound quite a bit better with some reverb. The sound was very dry, which brought out a lot of the imperfections in your voice.

I've figured out a much better EQ setting and have decided to mix in a lot more of the original signal next time simply because a lot of people don't understand that most singers don't sound good acapella and they need a noisy environment to add some forgiveness to it.

I'm taking a bit of advice from this thread and and going to pull out the keyboard and guitar tuner and meticulously write what all the notes are for the voice in the silent man, rehearse it about a dozen times and record it over the course of a couple days to see if there is a dramatic difference or not. I don't suspect it will be that drastic since my problem is not singing in relative key it's more a lack of consistency, but you never know, maybe it will be.

Thanks to everyone for taking the time to listen. Even in every gross exaggeration there's a little bit of truth, but I expected that much in this forum.

Cool.

Adveser's shitty singing made everyone friends. :) And I predict it will last at least 7 minutes. Seriously, I do. :) :)

Ha, I didn't even give it a listen... man, he takes a seemingly endless flogging 'round here though.
I'm pretty sure that Ken and myself making peace is one of the signs of the Apocalypse.
Seriously, though, we're cool, at least as far as I'm concerned.
