I would say that pass was actually a little ill-advised, but the catch was amazing. We'll be seeing that highlight in the US for years to come, and rightfully so.

So yeah I walked downstairs and my dad had this "super" "bowl" thing on TV. I saw a bunch of guys standing about. Then they ran into each other for a second or two. Then it cut to the studio. I went and got a drink and went to bed.

seriously, one of the best Super Bowl's ever. It was funny because my uncle had a huge bet on the Giants but my dad's friend had a huge bet on the Patriots, so they were rooting against each other the whole time. Wow, what a game.

Sometimes I wish I was European so I could experience the apparently irresistible urge to make a comment illustrating how the NFL is beneath my level of sophistication every time it is brought up. In fact, on the off chance this ever happens, I have already been practicing my lines:

"Don't you silly Americans realize how stupid the name alone is? Football should be played with the feet! Duh! LOLZ!!!!!"

"You know what is SOOOO funny? How nobody over here gives a shit about American "foot"ball. In fact, writing is making me laugh, HAR HAR HAR!!!"

"All they ever do is stand around and wrestle like little gay men. BORING!! Hehe! I love how sharp witted I am!"

The NFL is trying to get more European interest by having games played abroad the US. The Giants actually played Miami in England earlier in the season.

Honest to fucking god that is the worst sport ever!!! I watched the whole fucking thing and they did nothing until the last quarter. It would be half decent if they have like a 20 second clock in between plays or some shit, that way they wouldn't have to keep goin back to the studio and pretend that everyones actually not about to fall asleep. And concidering it was a cup final, i've never heard such a quiet set of fans, no singing, no shouting, i don't even think they were watching tbh. You yanks have more patience then the rest of the world, fair play to you guys if you can sit through that shit every week. I mean just play the fucking game, don't stand about doing fucking nothing!!!!!

I think that is why we like it. It ebbs and flows, whereas sports like basketball and soccer go back and forth for what seems like forever.

Man I 'm glad I can appreciate every sport for what they are.

But over time we have evolved into opposites. We love seemingly every sport except soccer, while soccer is seemingly the only sport you guys love. (I love soccer by the way, but I'm in the minority over here)
