This album is probably my favorite Anaal Nathrakh albums and it was one of the best albums from last year. Track 2 with aforementioned long ass title is my favorite track and it is awesome. I recommend checking it out if you haven't already even if you aren't a Nathrakh fan because it is just different from their other works to make it truly great.[/i]

Der Hölle Rache Kocht in Meinem Herzen is German for "The Vengeance of Hell is Burning in My Heart," which is a name of a famous aria Mozart composed.

i heard the songs on Myspace and they were very good. i liked the previous albums (except Eschaton, which i haven't heard) but it wasn't something that could hold me for more than a few songs at a time; these new ones, though, seem excellent. there's more, hm "fluidity" in them, you know, not so much blasting. tbh i can't stand riff-ruining blastbeats.

I know what you mean. It isn't melodic. It's just catchy I guess. Unlike their other albums and quite a few other bands, each song is its own and not just a barrage of drums and screams.

Good album, but I disagree that it is better then Eschaton. That album is flat out amazing.

This is quite good, but the melodic vocals get a little old for me in some of the songs. I like the rest quite a bit and would rank this release as one of my favorite quasi-black metal releases in recent times.

These guys have come a long way from their earlier releases. Gets an 88/100 from me.

I listened to the opening track (the first real song that is) and immediately told my friend that this is what brutal DM should be. It's not overproduced, or underproduced, but it's also not a wall of noise. It's fucking harsh, but you can hear everything clearly, and the musicianship is amazing. Great release.

Seriously, this thing is a beast. I still can't quite figure out how something so brutal could be so easy to listen to.

Fuck, finally got the title reference. It's a line in Shakespeare's "The Tempest". That's been bugging me for ages.
