Oh god, im the only sad soppy sob who actually enjoyed the day  Even the resident female hated it

I enjoyed the day, me and my gf went out to eat and then I pre-ordered Metal Gear Solid 4 and found fucking Tomba for ps1 for 2.99. Then we bought a couple movies (Se7en, and some stand up comedy thing, John Pinnette "Im starvin!") We watched the stand up thing and then did some other things only Stu would mention.

Ah glad im not the only one

She got me From Hell and Ronin and a huge Fight Club poster! :dio:

From Hell rules, I owned it for about 2 years and only just watched it last week.

Graphic novel is great, the movie is shit. If you watch it before the book, it's OK, but if you see it after then it's just another Hollywood massacre of Alan Moore's brilliance. The man writes in far too many layers for their ever to be a good movie made out of his work.

How they managed to completely miss the fucking point of V For Vendetta still blows my mind.

Unless they plan on making a 6 hour epic, which they aren't, then no. There's a lot of shit in that book to try to cram into a movie without the average slack-jawed movie goer getting lost. I have a feeling it's going to be epic fail.

If they could afford to option it, it have that small of a budget, a bunch of no names can turn out to be a good thing in the end.

I'm not sure I understand which picture you're talking about but the few I've seen look ok to me.
