I dunno. I keep hearing about the awesome atmosphere of ITNE or whatever, but Anthems sounds more evil than ITNE to me >_>

Machine Head - The Blackening. Great album. Probably MH's best since The More Things Change.

Awesomez.

Dark Tranquility-Character -- Can't wait for this to arrive, it was only £1.99 so I bought it out of the blue.

Mercyful Fate-Melissa -- I've only heard a few tracks off Don't Break the Oath and they're amazing so I've ordered this supposed 'classic'. We'll see.

Arsis--A Celebration of Guilt

Found it for $10 (including s&h). It was like $25 on Amazon.com so it's a great deal...website shipped it to me in like two days too. Anywho, The Face of My Innocence is unholy. I was flipping through the lyrics booklet and they actually seem worth looking into...

Listened to the DT a bit and it isn't bad but doesn't really do much for me.

Melissa. MELISSA. Oh my fucking Satan what an album! Absolutely amazing, all I can say.

OK what the fuck just happened?

I never thought looking at 6 lines of writing could be so painful.

Well, the last two lines. Black Tide are worse than Avenged Sevenfold.

I think CC are OK as well...thrash? No mate, just no. Although it does have thrashy bits and some of the riffs are really Arise(ish) but thrash it is not.

Not sure this is directed at me, but I agree with you anyway. Still, I do think Inflikted really is the best we could have hoped for realistically.

No, it was aimed at those shit 6 lines, but for some reason to justify another post I quoted you.

OK... yeah so CC isn't all the way pure traditional thrash. I hear the groove and the hardcore influences. The first two songs are very core.I was a bit dissapointed at first. The rest are more groove and thrash. Its not little thrashy bits, its alot of thrashy bits. Everything went up hill from there. I can't stop listening to this album.Terrorize and Hearts of Darkness are great songs. I love the solos and riffs.

Black Tide are better than A7X.
