okay! it goes like this... tell me your drinking games (rules, how you play it etc.)

I'll give you one of mine its called "štoflec" (don't ask why)
we drink it with "sharp" drinks (usually homemade Rakija or vodka or something similar but it must be pure)

Rules: group choses any number, let it be fro example 7. Now we count first one person says ONE! then other TWO! and so on. And when it comes to the number (in this case) 7 or that number contains 7 or it can be divided with 7 someone says "štoflec" and then the circle reverses (then the next number says person before person which said "štoflec") And if someone fucks up he must drink. After few "laps" it really hard to think when you're drunk.

I like the manowar one.. one shot pr steel, power, warriors etc.

My fave is:

1. Drink
2. Repeat
3. Continue until vomit/pass out

I rarely get to stage 3 anymore, fortunately.

Ring of Fire is a very complete drinking game. rules vary a lot, but here is an example:

- the drink is sangria, beer, hard alcohol with mixer, anything along those lines, preferably in a transparent-ish container.

cards up to 6: if red (hearts or diamonds) you get to tell someone to drink 2-6 gulps of their beverage, if black (spades or clubs) you drink the amount on the card.

10: make up a rule or mini game (can include the game showmaster proposed)

queen: if you hold one and ask someone a question and the other person gives you an answer, that person has to drink. if they reply with a question they take your queen.

king: keep collecting, person who takes the 4th king downs their beverage.

ace: guy who picks up the ace starts drinking, guy on his left can only stop when the first player stops, and so forth until the last guy (the one on the first player's right), who can only stop after everyone else stops. a strong drinker can fuck up the whole group with this one.

can't remember 7, 8, 9 and jack, but i'm sure one of them is the "bathroom card".

I play a variation of the Manowar game. It involves Hammerfall/Dreamland. I listen to either of them and when I feel the Power of Metal I chug the beer.

The coin one. You put 4 round short glasses of been/wine/sangria in a square, you throw a coin making it jump, and if it falls into one of the glasses, you choose who drinks it. If it falls in the middle, you choose who drinks all four. If you fail, you drink one.

King's Cup, slightly similar to what Azrael does, but everyone drinks what they like and there's a large cup, the King's Cup, in the middle of the table. When a king falls, the person who drew it pours the contents of his glass into the King's Cup. Four different drinks turn into a hilariously filthy beverage, and the person to draw the last card drinks it all up.

hmmm, my friend told me about a game similar to King's Cup, in that you have a very nasty mix: Arrogance.

each player holds a beverage he likes (or doesn't, you'll see why). they pour as much as they want from it into a central container, and flip a coin. heads they pass the game onto the next person, tails they down the central container (so if they're feeling confident they can fill it up with something they don't like).

and what do you do during the rest of the game in King's Cup?

Beer Pong - You have two teams (two people per team). Each team has ten cups of beer laid out in the shape of a triangle. The teams are on opposite ends of the table. Each team takes turns throwing ping pong balls into the opposing team's cups of beer. If a ping pong ball lands in a cup, one of the people on the opposing team has to drink the cup. The game ends when one team has drank all ten of its cups (at which the other team wins).

Bottle cap (or something like that, we call it 'caps').
Everyone sits in a circle on the floor/ground and each participant fills a cup with an alcoholic beverage of their choice. Place the mugs in a circle in the middle of your sitting circle, and each person sits one leg distance away from the circle of mugs (you measure by stretching out your leg and see if your foot touches your mug).

Inside your circle of mugs one mug is placed and filled with something strong, vodka or whatever. Spread a bunch of bottle caps around the floor/ground and when it's your turn, try to hit someone elses mug with a bottle cap. If you miss, it's the next persons turn. If you hit, the owner of that mug can try to counter your hit by hitting your mug. If he misses he drinks his mug. If he hits your mug, you can try to counter his throw by hitting his yet again, and so on.

If you hit the middle mug, everyone drinks their own mug but you drink the middle mug as well. No counters for this.

It's an awesome tradition among Swedish students. There are more rules but that's the general idea. And you get drunk fast (unless you're very good at throwing bottle caps). It gets very compedative.

This isn't a game, more of a challenge which eventually made my dad think I have a drinking problem.

Drink 5 pints of lager in 30 minutes, then do 5 shots in the next 30 and repeat. Trust me, it's fucking CHAOTIC. Not in any way good, but only the manly survive.

Something we did at my frat last night. It's called a boat race. There are two teams of eight.

It's a chugging competition, so it starts at one end, goes back the other end, comes back to the tail end, and then goes down another 2 people to finish with a shot. The person at the very end is usually the fastest drinker because they must do two in a row. 26 beers and 1 shot are consumed total in about over a minute.

I was the anchor of my team last night and downed my first two beers in 6 seconds and my next two in 5.7.

Here's a geek game that I accidentally invented one night and had catastrophic results for some of us! We used a "d100" or in truth that night we used 2 d10s (that is 2 dice with 10 sides). These 2 dice combined can produce numbers from 1 to 100. Everybody rolled the dice in some order (clockwise for example). On the table there was one glass with some really heavy liquer (we used a strong vodka that night) and everybody has his glass of beer. On a roll lower than 50 you, the roller should drink a gulp of beer. From 51 to 90, the roller drinks one sip of the heavy drink. From 91 to 99 you drink all that is left in the heavy drink glass before the refill and on a roll of 100 (or 00 as it is when you play with 2 d10s) you drink a full glass of the heavy drink in one gulp.
We also had another rule that whenever you got the same numbers on both dice you had to roll again appart from doing the action. So you drink beer and reroll on 11, 22, 33 etc or drink vodka and reroll on 66, 77 etc
It might sound very improbable but we actually had 3 100s in a very short time and lots of 99s ! A geeky but all in all a very funny game that is totally unpredictable and is bound to strike home with geeks, RPGers and dice afficcionados!

P.S. In that game I was the 3rd one who was "knocked out" totally wasted.

here in Nottingham they also do boat races, but they don't come back around.

and on chugging.. you should've seen me when i was a freshman. i remember this one time during a course dinner an older student (back then on his 7th year on our 4 year course) joined us. we raced and i thrashed him, and drunkenly spewed out a now legenday phrase:
"SO MANY YEARS, YET YOU DRINK LIKE A LITTLE GIRL!"
sadly, my "talent" is all but gone now :(

Like in your similar version, but each card yields a different mission. Ace = ad fundum, queen = every girl drinks, jack = every guy drinks, 10 = waterfall (you don't stop drinking until the person to your left has stopped), etc. etc.

Oh yes, there's also a very, very simple but hilarious drinking game we just call 'twentyfouring'. It's not very hygienic and not very prudish either, so be warned. Each player has a case of lager bottles, in our country's standards it's twenty-four 33cl lager bottles. You sit on the case until you've finished drinking all 24 bottles. You can never, EVER, move from your spot, your ass needs to keep touching the case at all times. We've seen people pissing, taking a dump, vomiting etc. while remaining seated. It's hard, it's bloody hard. But in the meantime you don't have to worry about a thing, so you can just get wasted with all the usual merriment.

almost 8 lts of beer! If there is no time limit i win.
