{It won't dethrone Decrepit Birth's newest as DEATH METAL ALBUM OF THE YEAR, though)

First album of actress Scarlett Johansson with TV On The Radio's producer, Yeah Yeah Yeahs' guitarist and David Bowie on two songs... Mostly Tom Waits covers (all but one).
A beautiful album that mixes shoegaze with jazz and folk.
Out on May 20th.

Wow, this album is awesome. Totally not what I expected.

Well, it's another proof, if needed be, of Scarlett Johansson's intelligence... When other actresses do a mainstream thingy that brings nothing but embarassment, she tries something that surprises... and charms!

Isn't she engaged to that guy from Blade 3? Still, he's quite buff.

I think the worlds of celeb gossip and metal need to be brought a little closer together, to be honest.

I've been keeping tabs on it. Although I'm waiting for it to garner more reviews on Metal Archives before I decide to purchase it.
